We were at a party yesterday and a little girl bit Ty

He cried and cried. The little girl kept coming after Ty. She was pulling his hair, tackling him and tried to bite him a few other times.
The mom felt so bad that she cried. I went and talked to her privately. I told her I wasn't mad and it happens. I worked at a daycare for 9 years!
Have any of your little ones been bitten yet? Or are they the ones doing the biting?
Re: Biting
Jax has bitten his older brother a couple of times. On the arm though...
It was because DS was either taking a toy away from him or something away from him that he could choke on. Jax yelled and just lunged at him.
Now that DS knows what triggers it he can avoid the biting either by moving or a firm no, if necessary. DS wasn't a biter.

Isaac has been biting me really hard the last few days. Molars, ack!
always my babies
We had a similar incident at the library this morning with a 2 year old trying to shove Alex & pinch him. The mom was really trying but both the 2 year old & 4 year old were beating up on my kids. They finally left but both Abby & Alex were a mess.

If MIL bit my kid then there would be locked doors. Fuck that bullshit.

Yes I'm sure I would have felt differently if the mom didn't care or redirect. She felt AWFUL and tried to keep her daughter away from Ty. And she kept coming and checking on him. He was over it as soon as the pain went away. He still has a distinct bite mark today.
Shit happens man, it sucks. :-??

He actually bit my sister a while back, it was really funny. Keenan was trying to walk to my mom and my sister (she's 14), would get in his way whenever he would try. Finally he got fed up with her, grabbed her face, and bit her right on the nose. I wasn't there but I laughed when I heard about it. Definitely not something we want to encourage, but she totally deserved it!
