Easy, kid-friendly appetizer?

I'm getting together with some friends tonight for dinner, and I've been requested to bring a dish that can double as both an appetizer and kid fare, since the main dish is lamb and the kids may not eat it. Do you guys have any easy suggestions? I was thinking of maybe pigs in a blanket with little smokies?

Pigs in a blanket sounds good, or some kind of quesadillas or taquitos (I get frozen ones from Costco), or those pinwheel sandwich roll-up things, or these:
