Ihope - I agree. I really wish this board was more active. It would me nice to connect with more local moms. When are you due? What hospital are you delivering at? I am delivering at Stony Brook in February.

I'm 38, live and work in Melville. My daughter was born on 4/24/14 (lots of fours!). I delivered at Winthrop and didn't love it.

3girlsnthepup - We are practically neighbors! You didn't happen to deliver at Stony Brook Hospital? I am supposed to deliver there and desperately am trying to find someone who has who can tell me what to expect with them. Everyone I know delivered at St. Charles.

I'm due 2/17 I called for a hospital tour but they don't have the december schedule yet and i dont want to go in november as i feel it's way too early. I would like to find out about infant CPR classes there as well. For a "regular" birthing class- I am doing hypnobabies which starts next weekend in centereach. I think it is better choice for me, but it's $400! :-P They teach everything over 6 weeks, 3- 3 1/2 hr class

I'm due Feb 16th with my first! Over in Suffolks south shore. Would love to meet new moms as I don't know any and a bit overwhelmed with what needs to be done. I'm currently 25 weeks and in the process now of researching infant daycare

, Lamaze, prenatal Yoga, Hospital Visits ....Yikes!
