  I'm one week out too!  I am starting to feel a little better, but I wouldn't say great. Wouldn't it be nice if it just flipped like a switch when you hit the 2nd trimester mark?! lol.

  I'm sorry, I'm confused a little, I get there will be some that are 4 weeks a head of me. I'm 7 and I thought the most anyone else would be is 11. Isn't 14 second trimester because of the "two weeks before conception"

  1. From WebMD:

     Pregnancy is measured in trimesters from the first day of your last menstrual period, totaling 40 weeks. The first trimester of pregnancy is week 1 through week 12, or about 3 months. The second trimester is week 13 to week 27. And the third trimester of pregnancy spans from week 28 to the birth.

  ETA- the beginning of 13th week marks the 2nd trimester, not the beginning of the 12th

  No. 2 weeks. You'll enter second tri at 13 weeks. Which means you still need to complete weeks 11 and 12. So you're 2 weeks out.

  Two weeks to go here too, but feeling physically better is kind of just freaking me out right now! Even worse because we told our family this week. I DREAD telling my 7 and 5 year old nieces if something happens.
  
  I'm trying to stay calm and enjoy not feeling nauseous. Really looking forward to our NT scan in less than two weeks. I wonder if a Doppler would make me better or just contribute to my paranoia?

  I feel like I'm sooooo many weeks away because I'm 2 wk behind what I thought I was. Haven't updated my ticker yet. 8w 2d instead of 10w 2d. Feel like I'm repeating but that's ok! When I hit the real 8 wk mark I started feeling better! Hope it lasts

  I keep freakin out about that too! My hubby says so becUse you feel good you automatically assume your losing the baby and if you hurt you assume the same? So I'm not stressing anymore instead enjoying being able to eat again!

  Many websites say that the second trimester begins at 14 weeks, while others say it begins at 13 weeks. My doctor's office also seems to start the second trimester at 14 weeks. I'm a little lost on what to believe!

  13w3d is the typical marker of 2nd tri (just like 26w6d is the marker for 3rd tri). It is easier to say 14w & 27w.

  My PgAL brain is freaking me out too! I still have a while but the last two days I've felt wayyy better and I'm trying to stay calm but secretly losing my mind! ESP after reading some of these posts. Eeek! Might need to step away from the bump, lol!

  Ah its so far away for me it seems! I'm due near the end of the month so I'm one of the last ones that will hit the second trimester. We'll be busy moving to a new house so hopefully it goes by fast.

  This!  Second tri is 13 weeks, 3 days. 

  
  

  Although some may start feeling better earlier than the start of the second trimester.  Other people may not feel much relief until well into their second trimester.  I have a friend didn't even get morning sickness until 16 weeks for all four of her pregnancies and she would be sick until the very end.  Everyone is different.

  I was at the end last time, too... and the end this time.  Womp.  I''d see someone post a complaint about some symptom and I'd think "oh I'm glad I don't have that!"... then I'd realize they were due three weeks before me and, sure enough, three weeks later I got it.

  Gotta say I'm kinda jealous of y'all that are almost done with 1st tri and are due in early March!! I'm not due til March 28, so still a long way from 2nd tri. Symptoms haven't been too horrible though, so just hoping they don't get worse before they get better!
