I hope everyone is doing well today. We're almost done. I'm so proud of the progress that everyone has made so far. I'll be spending today making Pinterest recipes and meal planning.
I've already started my plan for the next round of this in September (well, the one I plan on doing where everyone is free to join). Today's baby step was simplifying dinners. I love cooking, but during the week I end up picking things that take too long or cost too much. So, DH and I decided on weeknight "theme" nights that should be easy to stick to, 30 minutes or so worth of prep time, and shouldn't break the bank.
Monday: salad night Taco Tuesday Wednesday: pasta night Thursaday: stir fry night Friday: pizza night (homemade)
Saturday and Sundays will be my reserved "big cooking" days. This should hopefully save us a good bit.
