Teething and breastfeeding

Holy hell. Is anyone else's LO nursing differently now that they're teething?
My nipples are killing me! And, of course, DS wants to nurse more frequently. This sucks. I can't wait for these top 2 teeth to come through already

Yes yes and yes. Ouch! We only have one popped through but I'm just waiting for more knowing they aren't far behind.

We don't have any teeth or signs of teething yet. But LO has been nursing every 2 hours around the clock the last two days. I guess this is a sign that she'll start teething soon!

I had to work on latch after the bottom two came through. For some reason the left hurts much more than the right. I take him off and relatch making sure his top lip isn't curled in. Also, I can not express how great APNO is. My ob called it in to a compound pharmacy in the beginning when DS was a newborn and my nipples were cracked and bleeding. I use it now after my shower before bed and it really heals any little cracks from his bad latch and biting quickly.

Simon has 4 teeth, and I just got over a sore bout on my right nip.....his top two teeth were grazing it, always in the same spot, and it hurt! I basically had to alter my nursing position so that he was more upright on that side so that he wasn't rubbing on the same spot all the time, and it finally healed.

He's bitten me a few times already, it sucks!

He only has his bottom 2, but he is a biter and he thinks it's pretty funny too. I'm nervous for the tops to come in.

Yes! Amelia has the bottom two teeth and it is very uncomfortable now. It almost feels like she is dragging her teeth so I'm working on the latch but OMG it hurts.
