Cellulitis?

So... the twins' nanny just texted me to let me know that she has been diagnosed with cellulitis (she was previously scheduled to be off today and I haven't seen her since she left our house on Wednesday evening). Everything that I have read says that cellulitis is NOT contagious. But, DH is home with the kids today and he texted me a pic earlier of a small red patch that S woke up with this morning. It's sort of a flat, pink/red patch very close to her mouth. She seems fine, but it seems too coincidental and I'm worried. I called the Pedi's office and am waiting for a call back to see what she says, but does anyone have any experience with this?

DX: DOR and MFI

    I've never heard of cellulitis being contagious either. Could hair be a random coincidence?

    My money is on a coincidence.

    Does your nanny have an open wound where the cellulitis is?

    Thanks for the replies, ladies. When I spoke to the pedi yesterday, she wasn't concerned and thought it was probably just a bug bite (and a coincidence). We have kept an eye on it and it seems to be getting better. The nanny had what appeared to be a large, red bug bite on her leg when she worked on Wednesday, but it wasn't an open wound or anything like that. She sent me a pic of her leg yesterday, and the redness had spread from the bite (near her knee) all the way down to her ankle. She is on antibiotics and doing well now :)
