I know we have had discussions about toys for our babies, but I thought I would share a new one....stacking cups! I got these today (very cheap on Amazon) and LO is obsessed! Each cup has a number on the bottom which will be great for learning later on. Anyone else have a new toy to share?
Will is very behind y'all's kids in this regard, but he is obsessed with his oball. Not sure if your kids are already passed that. He ignores every you except this.
Love the stacking cups and I have been meaning to get an oball too! Fi is currently obsessed with her toes an anything that rattles. Oh and mummy's hair
@babylimas we have that ball too and she loves it. Her favorite toy was her lion finger puppet until my dog ate it...look at how sad it looks after it came back up...oh the horrors it went through
Jamie still loves Sherm and the firefly. Or the links.
She REALLY likes the spinner thing with balls inside that's on her chair saucer. She's a little violent.
feeding - maybe about $20 on breast milk bags and a small baby food stash I'm just starting; this will go up when he really gets going on solids
clothes - Maybe $50-75? I'm pretty good about only buying what he needs but he's in his 4th size already and almost no one gifts size 9 month clothes
toys - averaging about $50 a month I think
In total about $180-205 on routine stuff. Let's not talk about what daycare is going to run us. Plus there are some big purchases coming up soon - two new car seats and a new stroller at minimum.
We've probably spent maybe $200 since LO was born in March. We had a ton of hand me down clothes and 2 diaper showers. Plus my mom and dad love spoiling LO as he is their Onlyhttps://m-support.verizonwireless.com/mobl/features.faqs_faqs|MyVerizon|billing_statements.tp_2.html#billing_statements2 grandchild! We are really blessed!! Also, I'm becoming a minimalist, so I try to buy only practical things that will get several months worth of use. The clothes I have bought have either been on sale or for a special occasion, and that's been twice.

We budget $100/month for new things for LO. We cloth diaper, usually, so diapering expenses are moot. Right now, we're trying to go through the disposable diapers we received at our baby shower. However, I think we need to increase our budget because I need to buy something to make her baby food in the next month or so, a high chair, an activity chair, and new toys. I try to refrain from new clothes (she has SO many) unless they're on clearance. But.. I do have a weakness for bows..

I just got jumping beans stacking cups from kohls for $2.50. %50 off sale plus 15% off coupon. That was the least expensive toy but there were other good deals!

The cups that @fish8412 posted look a lot like my Tupperware measuring cups (the OLD, original Tupperware. Lol).
We also have this highchair tray toy that LO plays with while we eat.
Otherwise, all of DS1's toys are around, so he may have contact with just about anything.
Oh, and he loves when the cat comes to cuddle.
Is this accurate?? $112??!!??
