We used Born Free bottles with M and never had a problem. Loved them - they were fab.
So I picked up two new 5 oz BF bottles since I couldn't find our little guys from before, so they ones I currently have have been in use since May. Not terribly long.
They're leaking. I don't know why - just now, I looked over at the bottle on my desk and it was in a pool of "milk." When I tilted it, more came out from the collar.
I don't think I've done anything different - everything is assembled correctly, put on nice and tightly, etc. The only thing I've noticed lately is I think I've torn a little bit of the vent (right where there was already an opening) because of trying to clean inside, but that doesn't make sense as a possible reason for milk getting outside the collar, right?
BF users - anyone else have this problem? Ideas?
Other bottle users - anyone super duper love their bottles? I never really dug the Dr. Brown's, so I don't think I'd switch to that. I am intrigued by the Tommy Tippee, so if anyone has those, I'd love to hear about your experience in case I decide to give one a test run.
Re: SS: Born Free Users (and other bottles users, for that matter - everyone, c'mon in!)

The Dr Brown always seem to leak. We had a dud ring in one that was malformed but it seems they all leak to an extent. Avent seems to be his favorite. I'd like to do playtex if I could get away with feeding straight from the breast milk bag, but that seems to leak too.
And I just found out our daycare requires a new bottle for every feeding. Once the baby puts the nipple in his mouth they consider it contaminated and can't be washed and reused. I get that it would be a lot of work for them to clean and keep track of 12 babies bottles for 5 to 6 feedings per day....But I hadn't planned on the logistics of pumping, bagging for freezer, then bottling... so much "stuff" every where.
I have tommy tippie, avent, and playtex from showers and whatnot but we haven't tried them yet.
FYI- bru has Tommie tippie for 50% off right now.
