Help me buy a crib/ night soother please!

OK, K needs something to soothe himself when he is in his crib. I cannot decide between the below 3. Any suggestions?

1. Really like this one as I think this can be used long term and has the different sounds, night light etc.

2. Really like that it has the mobile as well as the projector for later

3. This is standard soother that was recommended by my friend but it just seems boring? Would it engage him past 8 months?

Looking for a wall projector and soother in one so other suggestions welcome!

  • I have number 2 and after not a long time of use the bees have stopped spinning. I like it but the lights are kind of bright and seem to keep A awake. Maybe a little too stimulating. So I turned the lights off, I think she just likes the music of it.

  • @BlueDot818‌ I've been reading up on it and have not got one yet. I think it's a matter if sleep training. If you use it in the crib and that's what soothes T then that's what you will have to do every night. Not ideal. I think it's a great option to just have if you need them to hang in the crib but not recommended to be used as a soother per sleep experts.

Having said that, I've read the million fifty reviews on amazon that claim how these things help soothe their kids so I think it may help. I mean if you have the consistency of the same routine every night then who cares what helps LO sleep right?

The night turtle is meant for ages 3-4 and up. Might be a little too much for our LOs.
  • So we don't have a soother or mobile... do they really put your babies back to sleep? I feel like T would wake up looking at the aquarium... I'm considering the twilight turtle like I recommended above, but idk if it will help him at all...
A likes things that move its almost like she stares so intently at it that eventually her eyes just close rather than getting distracted by her hands or other things, if that makes sense. Sometimes she will watch it as soon as the music came on and sometimes she couldn't care less about it.
