I hate them. I'm scared of them and rides in general make me sick. I went on the scooby doo roller coaster at Kings Dominion when I was probably 7 and that was that. And one time I went on the flume and puked everywhere.
I've been on those simulation rides at Disney world, but I don't even like those. And I will go on the Pirates of the Caribbean, but that's as crazy as I get.
I hate them. I've been on a few, and literally cried the whole time. Keep me on the ground, and spin me as fast as you want, just don't take me up in the air.
I love roller coasters but I don't like the way my body feels after, all tossed around and junk. A real ride, like Cedar Point yes. But not a carny ride.

My mom gets sick on the Scooby Doo! It's the only roller coaster she will get on and only if she takes Dramamine.
I will say though- I will ride just about anything once, but haaate the sensation if coasters like Top Thrill Dragster that just launch you off rather than take you up a big ass hill first and drop you.
I actually like the launchers better. The slow up hills are annoying
-My son was born in April 2012. He pretty much rules.
@bunkinmama DS2 was so excited when he hit 48 inches. His first big coaster was the front seat of the Millennium Force, I think. He insisted on waiting for the front. He said he was scared, but he was going on it.
Nope. I have a completely irrational fear of being decapitated on a roller coaster when it goes through a tunnel or of it flying off the tracks.
I did suck it up at Harry Potter World and rode The Dragon Challenge with my friend who didn't want to ride alone...because nobody could possibly die at the greatest place on earth. Right!?
I used to love them. Now I'm old and can't handle all the rides like I used to. The Aerosmith one took off too fast at Disney World and i was practically in tears the rest of the ride. When did I get so old? Your equilibrium or something changes as you get older, I think?
This. I do better on rides outside than inside though.
My sister went on some ridiculous roller coaster, something in the dark? Maybe at Kings Dominion? I don't know because I don't ride them, but she ended up with a horrible case of vertigo. She was in bed for 2 weeks, and even years later, she still struggles with it.
Yes, I am willing ride all the roller coasters. But now that I'm older, I don't enjoy them quite as much as I used to- I don't think my body handles the jerking as well. So I don't have to ride them multiple times to make the trip fun, like I did when I was younger. When I'm with DD it doesn't bother me that we go on the kiddie rides and skip the big ones. But I still love them!
Used to love them and ride them over and over (I grew up at still live in orlando so universal/islands of adventure and Disney are right in my back yard) and I still enjoy them but after one ride I need to go on something slower to give my tummy time to settle down. Lol. I feel old.
I love all rollercoasters. What's weird is that I although I can ride any roller coaster and feel fine, I can't watch an I-Max movie that simulates a roller coaster ride without immediately feeling like I'm going to hurl.
Also, I hate those rides where you're in a pirate ship or something that rocks back and forth higher and higher until it slowly flips all the way over. Those are scary as hell to me.
I love roller coasters! For some reason im scared of the top thrill dragster tho. Its the only one at cedar point i havent ridden 100 times.

I think we need a whole thread dedicated to Cedar Point. There are so many defunct rides I miss. Bring back the Sky Slide! And the little remote control boats.
@scarlettpanda DD isn't a fan of Mantis either and she loves coasters. She says it's uncomfortable. Have you been on the Mean Streak recently? DH and DD said that it's a lot smoother and faster this year.
Re: Do you like rollercoasters?
Not on your life.
Nope.
