Mommy Heart Attack

I just had the scariest moment. Ty tried to climb in the hot oven. He had the door all the way down, threw his shovel in and was about to put his hands down when I screamed NOOOOO! Then he screamed so I wasn't sure if I scared him or he had touched the oven. After thoroughly checking him and seeing no burns I cried because of what could have happened.
How many mommy heart attacks can one person have before having a real heart attack!! This is 3 for me and Ty is only 1.
The first was when he fell off the couch before he could even roll. Still a mystery...
2nd was when I was peeing and I heard the bedroom door and thought he was going to fall down the steps. And now the oven!
I ordered an oven lock from amazon a few days ago. No more oven till the lock is on!
Have your children given you any mommy heart attacks yet?

    Wow, that would scare me so bad. Kiddo tried to climb up off of the side of her little chair a couple times and scared me so badly.

    We tried that oven lock and it didn't work with ours. Hope it works better for you! G has been trying to open the door himself. So scary

    Haddock has no fear either. He still wants to dive off the couch. I'm sorry that happened to you today and I can't even imagine the worry!

    Gavin gives me heart attacks on the daily. Either hes running and suicide diving into the wood floors, or he's banging his head against the stone fireplace on purpose, or he's trying to climb the stairs (he fell down three and gave me a mini heart attack a few weeks ago).

    I need a Valium...

    Oh no that sucks I'm sorry. I gate off the kitchen when I am pulling something out of the oven or cooking in it. I am super paranoid. Make sure you get those knob covers for the burners too. That was a necessity at our house.

    @dragonmom35‌ the oven lock is on! It has adhesive on the top to attach it to the oven and a slide lock for when you need to open the door! Hopefully it works. Ty's gonna be pissed when he realizes he can't open the door. I got a toilet lock too! I'm taking all his fun away.

    Yesterday at the pool, I was getting myself ready to go swimming and in a flash T crawled off the chair, across the pool deck, and then intentionally started lowering herself into the pool. I was at her side before she got a toe in the water but I was amazed at her nonchalant attitude... like oh mom you want to come in too? I was just gonna swim some laps.
