This check-in is open to anyone that is part of the SAIF community and is currently TTC again, either on their own, or via injectibles, IUI, IVF, adoption, etc.

A check-in will be posted every week. Please reply to the check-in post if you would like to be added to the group. Each check-in will provide the opportunity for you to provide an update as to where you currently are in your TTC.

Once you get pregnant please post about your first and second beta then move over to the pregnancy check in.

Jessylane8- 7/30 I think I am 1dpo but my temp dropped this morning so who knows. I had a +OPK and O pains last night..

mnj05 – 7/30 I did b/w this morning and just got a call that my progesterone levels are low so I start provera tonight. I'm hoping my period comes quick like last time I was on this so we can get this show on the road.

Racheyt0227- 7/30 I'll join if I can! 1st month TTC (on our own w/o meds) Had a + OPK on the 28th, so now I am jsut waiting.

TTC, with treatments

blueberries8 - 5/29 - FET #3 was a no-go because none of the embryos continued to develop after thawing I stopped my meds and now I am just waiting to get AF and on June 12 I meet with the RE to come up with a new plan.

Chiwifey-7/30 Just landed in Denver. Our ODWU is tomorrow. Trying to keep my emotions and expectations in check.

Efhoping2010 -7/30 Hoping to make it for IVF/ICSI #4 ODWU pre-testing in August.

emwaiting – 6/18We are currently off all meds and just seeing what will happen on our own. Praying for that little miracle to happen. You know be one of those that can say "it will happen when you quit trying!" ha I will be 6 wks tomorrow from my last period so that is frustrating that it won't come on it's own. If it isn't here in another week then they will do a blood test to make sure I'm not prego and then do the meds to start my period. Kinda hard to have that miracle without my period or ovulating. We had to do IVF to get our DS so we are thinking we will have to go down that road again so time to save $$ again!
fullfhope – 6/4 - I have my follow up with RE on 6/12.

jmorta04-7/30 In the dreaded 2WW. L and I leave tomorrow for a wedding in NC so I won't have my beta until I return on the 6th. Had some cramping and brown spotting today. Maybe implantation related?! Here's to hoping!

itsmevkb -6/25 The mock transfer and hysteroscopy were all normal so I'm on track to start estrace in late July and due a FET mid August.

KDR19179-7/16 I haven't been on the bump in awhile because I have been busy with the twins and work, but we are in the process of going back for our single frozen embryo. We don't tell many people IRL when we are going through IVF cycles, so I would love to talk about it somewhere! CD day 1 was July 10, I saw the RE on Monday. I'm taking estradiol 2mg 3x daily. I go back on 7/21 for an ultrasound and blood draw. The embryo transfer is scheduled for 7/28. We only have 1 embryo left and it has about a 65% chance of surviving thaw. If it survives thaw, it has a 27-30% chance of pregnancy. I love swimming, but don't get to do it much. I never thought I would want a pool until we had kids. If we had a pool, I think I would swim every day in the Summer!

LauraBeth1401 – 7/30 Also in the 2ww. Beta is on Saturday and I'll probably POAS on Friday. *sigh* Trying to keep busy but I wind up overdoing it and my DH gets peeved at me and tells me to sit down. Not easy with a busy 18 month old!

mg0202 -7/16 Just waiting on AF and I will be starting BCP for our FET. Transfer will hopefully be early September.

MoFree –7/30 I should probably move into the 'TTC with treatments' category since I am now taking BCPs for IVF #2. So far so good, with no unwelcome side effects. We'll see what happens when I start Lupron. We are going to do PGD this time because of DH's genetic condition and two failed FETs despite 'ideal conditions.

Pam MG – 7/30 Just waiting... twiddling my fingers until next Saturday to see if the B shows up or if I finally get another baby... The DS count last time was 25 mil post wash which had me dancing

Pinkmickey24-7/30 I'm going to join this weeks check-in. I had posted a couple weeks ago about blood work before starting Metformin. I called my OB who was on vacation and she returned my call Monday. She has ordered the blood work, now I just need to get it done. My goal is today, but it is looking more like tomorrow. My first AF since the IUD was removed just concluded so our first trying on our own cycle is underway. We are just going with the flow until we return to the RE. ***Update- The blood work is done and I hope to have the results Friday, so I can get the Metformin going.***

trigirl79 - 6/4 - Beta was negative on Tuesday. We're taking a break in June, I'll do temps and OPKs but no meds. AF arrived yesterday, which is actually good news since hopefully it means my body is finally regulated.

ON A BREAK, hoping to get back in the game soon

STL34-7/30 I'm on CD4. Going to do OPKs this month. I have a second opinion appointment scheduled for the end of August. Hopefully we can get the testing we need and save enough month to do another round of IVF (with immune treatments).

Phishgirl29- 7/30 So I'm scheduled for surgery on 8/14 to remove some scar tissue and will cycle (fingers crossed) shortly thereafter. Getting excited, though I'm nervous about the hysteroscopy.

Bellalou – 6/18 Aiming for a fresh cycle on the house in October.

Went for monitoring on Sat and Mon. One big follie (25), a few decent sized (17 or so) and some smaller ones. Lining was good (9). IUI today at 245. Here's hoping third time's a charm

I'm on day 8 of provera. I should be calling Monday for BCPs to get this IVF cycle going.

surgery rescheduled for tomorrow on 8/7 to remove some scar tissue. Getting excited, though I'm nervous about the hysteroscopy. FX they don't find anything majorly wrong once they go in there. On BCPs and metformin now to regulate my cycles before my possible FET next month.

QOTW: I've been into phish lyrics lately. My favorite now is "you've got to run like an antelope out of control". I have to remind myself often to still have fun

Had my beta this morning and just waiting to for the phone call. Pretty sure it will be negative...been spotting on and off since the weekend and I just feel like my period is coming. It was a long shot but I was hoping it would work. If it's negative, we are done. No frobabies left and I can't do the whole process again. I'll keep you all posted.

Update: Beta was negative as expected. So you can take me off the check in since we are officially done TTC. Thanks!

@kmc84‌ I didn't test. I like the idea of having the tiniest bit of hope and a HPT would have killed that days ago I'm sure. Although I was extremely close to going out to get one last night!

On Saturday I started the Metformin. I am also using FF to track my cycles, but I'm not temping. I think I've adjusted to the one pill and on Saturday I will up it to two pills a day.

I am 9dpo. I think I will test tomorrow. I only have 2 cheapie tests, so dont want to waste them by starting too early!

I would like to be added to check in

We have an appointment on Monday for an FET consult and I am officially terrified

mostly on how ill pay for two kids in daycare. It makes me angry that this is my biggest concern. But I've been having crazy issues with irregular paps and know I need to be done with TTC in case I need stronger treatments in the near future in that area. Plus i just turned 35, so I'm not getting any younger

thinking of a fall cycle.

Update: Surgery went well and the doctor said I'm ready to cycle with a FET as early as next cycle. So relieved!!!

CD 10. I stopped one of my medications for an arthritis flare so that I will hopefully ovulate. Using OPKs and will hopefully be able to give this a shot this month.

Second opinion appointment is August 29!! I'm hoping things go well with this RE!!
