We do not circumcise our boys in my family. Body autonomy is big with us.

Absolutely not. His penis, his choice. This isn't even up for discussion in Europe. They don't have "issues" with intact penises that Americans somehow have. Gee, I wonder why that is.

I researched this issue heavily during my second pregnancy because I felt strongly about it, but it was never an option should I have a son. Neither my first husband, circumcised, or now husband, also circumcised, advocated it. But, they're both men who appreciate science and evidence-based practice as a rule, and are aware of circumcision's roots and history in American culture. That alone was enough for them to oppose the routine practice. Thank the gods.

And I never understood the idea behind penises needing to "look" a certain way, least of all "cute." It's an organ, a sex organ; it needn't look "cute." I don't think of vulvas as "cute" or vulvas with trimmed down labia or a missing foreskin (clitoral hood) as "cuter." It's external genitalia that serves a function.

My H has never changed a diaper before and is hoarding these like they will save his life once LO gets here. I always picture some Indiana Jones Temple of Doom style quick open and throw the tent over his little penis. (Someone gif this for me) I just hope I'm there the first time he gets pee in the face.

We are circumcising. OP, it's whatever works for you and your family. Talk to your doc about it before you make a decision.

MH thinks his penis is an instant turn on also. Um no! I feel like a prude but I still think all wieners are gross.

I always covered my DS up at each diaper change and I lost count how many times I got peed on. DH, on the other hand, never covered him up and NEVER got peed on. Not fair!

ETA: I used a wipe not the peepee teepee things. They also make a washable sponge type thing which is also dumb
