That's what I'm thinking although I'm not a fan of the look (of the clogs). But, I may just have to suck it up because I've heard these shoes are pretty much the best thing ever.
I just ordered a pair of Sperry slip on gym shoes from the Off Saks 5th Ave outlet. (didnt have my size so waiting for them to arrive). They don't tie, but are the slip-on kind with elastic. I can't find my exact pair, but if you google Sperry Athletic Shoes some come up. I also think their boat-type shoes are really comfortable, esp if they come in wide!
If you're looking for a nicer flat than a clog, check out the Earth Bellweather. Its more like a ballet style but with support. Its also stylish and doesn't look at all orthopedic.
I bought a pair on Amazon after the photographer from our wedding did a blog post on them. I figured a girl who is on her feet for 9 hours lugging around camera gear knows comfy shoes!

I second sketchers. They have good arch support, are easy to get on, they have a wide option and they also have half sizes. There are Clark's too but they are a... Bit older looking; however they have great support. Have you tried going to a naturalizers? Lots of their shoes also look a bit older but you can find some cute ones.
I bought Danskos because people were all "Ooooooh, Danskos!" and my feet HATE them. $125 down the drain. If you've never worn them, definitely try them on in a store and walk around for 15 minutes like a weirdo. I wish I had.
What size do you think you'll need? I was a 9 wide. The ones I have are shiny black patent. I'd totally send them to you if you want them and they're your size! Or I could bring them with us on our SC trip, since we leave Friday!

I'd probably need a 9w but I don't really dig patent. I suck at life. Thanks for the offer though, you're so sweet!
I caved and bought some birkenstocks. They were new in stock to my favorite clothes website (needsupply) and so I figured they were In enough to buy....and so comfortable...and no laces....perfect pregnant shoe
I also second the Skechers. I bought a pair of "Go Walk 2"s and they are hands-down the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. They are also crazy lightweight and super easy to get on and off. I'm actually thinking about buying a second pair to wear around the house.
I really enjoy my easy spirits. They come in wide and slip right on. I have a couple different colors and versions. Their "Traveltime" line work well with summer or winter and come in tons of colors. They do kinda look like granny shoes though
I love my Merrell "Jungle Mocs". They slip on and are so comfy. I wore them walking all day for several days in Europe and my feet were fine at the end of the day.

That's the style I have, but they have a bunch of other styles.
