MS and sensitive to smells

Rant-I am so over dry heaving and smelling anything sending me over the edge. I can't even change my sons poopy diapers without hurling. Thank goodness for my DH! Anyone else having these issues? At least I know it means there's a health peanut inside!

    The worst is dry heaving over a clean toilet... But smelling it actually makes you Puke... I've known that all to well these past few weeks. I'm cleaning that sucker every day and still can't stomach the clean smell. Gross!

    I haven't tried this idea but I'd imagine a spot of cinnamon or peppermint under your nose so that's all you'll smell.

    Haha I know that feeling all too well. I made that mistake a week or so of the toilet not being clean enough. Needless to say because I've spent so much time with it lately, it's clean enough to probably eat off of. Lol

    What's been getting me lately is peoples' bad breath at the office. They're standing two feet away and I'm just standing there with a strange look on my face trying to get out of this conversation and offering everyone gum all day.

    I work in a hospital and I'm super sensitive to smells when pregnant. Not a good combination.

    I saw a nurse once who used the alcohol prep pads to calm down her m/s & tune out other smells. It's the same idea as peppermint, etc, but more accessible. (And it sounds awful to me... but maybe it would help? I work outside the hospital now so I haven't had to try it.)

    Perfumes and cologne are the worst for me. Yesterday my coworker was eating at his desk and it was awful. Turned out it was only an everything bagel with egg and cheese.

    I can definitely sympathize with that! I think too, I'm beginning to make odd misidentifications. Everything, strangely, either smells like puke or poop. Not kidding, but slightly exaggerating.... Slightly.

    My husband picked up salmon to grill for dinner last night. The idea sounded good until I got a whiff of it. I turned in early without dinner! I need the rest and you know the story...food sounds pretty gross right now.
