Any musically minded Mom's out there......

I need some songs for our Mommy and Me swim class. We sing adapted songs like "The kicks in the pool" to "The wheels on the bus" song, we do the hokey pokey, and a few more. I have been the singing leader the last few weeks as the instructor needs help with inspiration and I am lacking some too.

Can you think of any kids songs that we can adapt to make swimming/splashing/kicking themed? Even any other songs that suit a swim class?

    The Itsy Bitsy Spider. Something like the itsy bitsy baby swam in the swimming pool. Up came his feet and kicked on top the water......

    1st u/s on 10/10/12: It's Twins! We found out on 12/16/12 that we were having two BOYS!

    Do you know I had a little turtle?

    I had a little turtle, his name was tiny Tim. I put him in the bath tub to see if he could swim. He drank up all the water, he ate up all the soap. Now he's home, sick in bed, with bubbles in his throat!

    While singing, cup your hands together with thumbs out on opposite sides, and swim you hands in the water. At the end, the babies put their faces in the water and blow their bubbles.

    Also, if you're happy and you know it. Have them have them kick their feet, paddle their arms, and go under.

    We always did the tiny turtle one that @tj1979 mentioned. We also sat the kids on the wall and sang/said "Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great FALLLLLLL!!!!!!" and then we splashed the kids into the pool - submerging or not depending on the kid. It's not singing, but a game that was his favorite was the teacher spread out a whole bucket of rubber duckies all over the place and we had to pull/hold/push/carry the kids around on their belly in the water and collect ducks and bring them back to the bucket. Have fun!

    How about Row Row Row your boat? This is one of A's favorites right now.
    TTC since June 2011
    DH diagnosed with Testicular Cancer 8/2010
    Low sperm count. Only option IVF with ICSI
    Starting First cycle Jan/Feb 2012- Canceled due to not responding to BCP and/or Lupron
    IVF 1.2- stims March 14, ER March 24, 16 R 10F 6 made it to blast
    ET March 29- transferred two blasts, 4A and 4BA, froze 4
    Positive HPT 9dp5dt Beta 1- 385 11dp5dt
    u/s April 25- one healthy heartbeat
    EDD 12/12/12>

    Just remembered another one - THe Grand Old Duke Of York, he had 10 thousand men, he marched them up to the top of the hill and he marched them down again. And when they were up they were up, and when they were down they were down, and when they where neither half way up they were neither up or down. (made babies go up/down/middle with the words)

    Motor boat, motor boat go so slow, motor boat, motor boat go so fast, motor boat, motor boat turn on the gas (pull child quickly through the water). Boat can get stuck if kiddo isn't kicking :)

    Me-36, Unexplained Infertility, DH-35, all clear
    Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
    Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.
