Good morning ladies! Hope everyone is having a good week!

QOTW: our last trip was to disney, which is where out next vacation is in about 8 weeks. Can't wait to go back. It's just so magical and happy there.

I am 10w today and pretty excited to hit double digits! It feels like a mini milestone. Things have been good, I'm insanely tired and bloated and irritable, but otherwise doing ok. I have had some serious shit going on at work and am stressing a lot about whether or not I will have a job to come back to after the babies are here. I am terrified at the prospect of being a new and exhausted mom of two while job hunting ::shudder::

QOTW: We went to Negril, Jamaica in March for my 30th, (after a CP and before starting IVF) it was a slice of heaven and a much needed getaway.

Well, this past week has been pretty eventful. I've had a rough time with nausea and vomitting in the first tri, but beginning Saturday, it got worse and worse. I haven't eaten anything since last Friday, lost 13 lbs, ended up in the hospital for 6 hours on an IV and now I'm at home on an IV of fluids and Zofran. I seem to be turning a corner today. I still don't want food, but I'm not feeling like death. On another note, we have our NT scan today and I'm really looking forward to seeing baby girl and making sure she is okay. They haven't checked on her through any of this so I've been worried.

QOTW: our last vacation was Hawaii at the end of April, just before my FET. It was one of the best vacations I've ever been on. It was a big group of my family in a rented house on the beach and we all had such a great time.

@mdiblasi - that sounds like a rough week! I hope you're really turning the corner and will be feeling better soon! Hope the scan goes well today! Where did you go in Hawaii? We HM'd there and it was seriously paradise

We are definitely planning to go again next year. Where did you HM?

We had our first tri and NT scan and both babies look terrific! They were so much bigger and wiggling around so much! Hearing those sweet little heartbeats made me cry big time! My nausea is a bit better but the exhaustion and headaches are worse... sooo tired all the time!

We just got back from Spain a couple of weeks ago! it was fantastic!

I can imagine, what a different trip! We spent a week in Maui and a week in Kauai. I loved them both, but Kauai was really our kind of place, a little less touristy, a little more off the beaten path. It was amazing. Jealous you'll be back next year! I'm in Ontario, so it's a loooong way for us to go!

10w6d...I finally graduated from the RE, kinda, they are still monitoring my meds but no more appointments. After my US yesterday the RE brought me a goody bag and it had 2 onesies in it, and I hugged the nurses. This time tears at the REs office were for a good reason!

QOTW: What was your last vacation or getaway? Last year we went on a family vacation, it was kind of hectic but nice. We had planned to go on a cruise in Jan. but opted out last minute, good thing though because we had a pipe bust during our stay-cation.

QOTW: We went on a cruise. I had a m/c and immediately booked it, just 3 weeks in advance! So glad we did that. But now I'm ready for another vacation!

Hello ladies! 13w5d so this is my last first tri post!!!
Got my first tri bloodwork results back today and was 1 in 10,000 for trisomy 18 & Down syndrome. Very happy with these results!

I hope you all have an easy first tri! See you all on the second tri board!

Hi Ladies! Just had next to last appointment with RE this morning, 10 weeks along now and baby is looking great, moving and shaking with a strong HB of 174. Tomorrow I can finally stop the estrace and patch and one more week on the endometrin, gee I can't wait!

QOTW: Last mini trip was to New Orleans, had a great time!

@mdiblasi10‌ oh my gosh!! Glad you're feeling better!

12 weeks now! It's going so fast it seems. Had my last RE on Tuesday. Baby looked awesome, HB of 164. It was wiggling around like crazy, I love watching baby on the screen. Get to stop taking my metformin. But then my midwife prescribed baby asprin cuz I had high blood pressure last time. I'm starting to feel less gross, which is a huge relief!

QOTW: we went to Cape Cod at the end of May. It was awesome! And it was there that we started suspecting we were pregnant, so that's a great memory.

My first OB appointment is today, eek I'm nervous! They haven't scheduled me for an NT scan yet, but I'm hoping I can have them do it today since I will already be there. Our last vacation was last summer to Florida.

Hi Ladies! i'm 13w1D today so this will be my last check in! The ms has mostly disappeared but I haven't stopped the diclectin - i think i'll give it one or 2 more weeks before i see if it's really gone or just the diclectin actually working

Also started getting vertigo and cramping high in my stomach this week - MW said neither are from or will effect the pregnancy - but doesn't make me feel any better. Just taking it a day at a time

QOTD: DH and I went to a cottage a few weeks back... it was a wonderful break from the real world. Stilling on the dock reading a book, hiking, boating... it was fab. Wish i was there now!

Hi Ladies. I can't believe I am already at the end of the 1st tri and this is my last check-in here! Things are going well - exhausted but ms seems to be gone. Next appt is on the 4th - so I still have another week or so to go - hoping we get to see / hear the HB and our LO again but not sure if they do it at this appt (have already had 3 u/s so they may have me wait till our 20 week a/s)

QOTW: Lots of little trips but nothing substantial in a year. (Napa in May for 4 days - for DH's 70th so with in-laws and SIL; Hawaii in March - but with my parents since DH was working non-stop and needed a break fron IVF; New Orleans for a day and a half in Jan - DH had a conference so I went for the weekend; same with London in Nov). Our last real vacation together was Japan last summer. But we are heading to Switzerland and Italy in a few weeks for our summer vaca - and will plan a babymoon somewhere for Oct.

Hi Ladies!

Doing well over here.. three more weeks to go until my next OB apt (boo). I'm feeling somewhat better, but the headaches are terrible if I don't drink enough water. We are announcing to grandparents and friends this weekend! I'm nervous, but excited.

QOTW: We went to my family's lakehouse at the end of May. I got to see my 8 mo. old neice at the time & my sister & BFF. It was perfect. Then a week later, found out we were pregnant!

@chickyclg Congrats on graduating!!

@jaytee16 & @mdiblasi10We HM'd in Hawaii too. Before we left we were asking locals how to get jobs. I can't wait to go back!! It's my favorite place. We went to the north shore on Oahu & Maui!

@tarala If you don't mind sharing.. what blood tests did you have done to test for the trisomies? I am researching right now. Thanks!

Hey All!!

Checking in at a day short of 12 weeks. NT scan is set for next Thursday and Im hoping and praying all is well. My doppler helps keep my mind from spinning too far out of control but it will be good to have a look at LO again.

QOTW: My last getaway was to a B&B in the Poconos back in April. It was simply amazing. We were scheduled to take a trip to NYC while in the 2ww but DH decided the best thing for me to do is sit still and let baby implant. He may have had a point in hindsight. We have a trip to Toronto next weekend we are both looking forward to.

@ducky719 I started playing with the doppler at 7.5wk. I didnt actually get the HB until 8w5d (and it was only for a few seconds). At 9.5wks, I was able to consistently pick it up, but in the beginning it took me at least a good 15-20minutes of trying. Now I can usually get it in under 5minutes.

I am 9w3d and haven't yet been able to pick up the baby's heartbeat on our home doppler. I know it is early but it still has us on the edge of our seats hoping everything is still ok in there.

Last get away was a road trip down south to the Smokey Mountains in NC, TN, and VA. Beautiful!

A few tips... 1) Empty stomach, 2) Really full bladder 3) Start at your pelvic hairline directly under you belly button. 4) Press harder than you think you should, I left indents the first few times 5) Dont really move the wand around too much, just slowly and slightly change the wands angle. Do so until you feel you have "checked" all possible angle positions, then slowly move wand and start over.

Hi Ladies!!! Once again, late to the party - I was at DH's family reunion at a camp with no reception. So, I guess that counts as the QOTW - a little challenging meeting all of those people and spending a mosquito filled week in a cabin with MIL barking and NOT being able to partake in libations!! Beautiful scenery - NH had perfect weather and was nice to get away.

I am 13W4D today. NT last Monday went great. For being "elderly" - we had 1/3000 chance of any chromosomal issues (**me jumping up and down**) . It's SO HARD to believe that I am a "regular pregnant person" and do not go back to the OB for another MONTH! Craziness - I still have IVF brain and have this need/desire to go in weekly.

Baby is poppin' out and really no other symptoms - considering myself very very lucky. We did *more* genetic testing last week - that included the sex chromosome - so we should get that call tomorrow. Team???????

Heard the HB yesterday for the first time on doppler (for real - loud and clear - previous doppler was "Is that the heart beat? Maybe that was the chicken I ate for dinner?) - It was amazing.

Hi all! I'm late! Congrats to the graduates this week!

I'm 10w1d. My first midwife appointment isn't for another 10 days and I'm anxious! I didn't buy a home Doppler but you all make it sound very tempting...

QOTW: We went on a short 3 day getaway to Boulder for some hiking last weekend. We live on the East Coast so it's nice to see real mountains once in a while!
