Office workers - swelling

I sit at a desk most of the day. I pee every hour or two, but the washroom isn't very far away, so it's not like that gets me a lot of exercise. I also usually walk to grab lunch, but that is probably only a few hundred meters. This past week I've had moderate swelling in my feet and ankles by the end of the day. I'm 23 weeks pg. I always drink 3-4 24oz cups of water during the work day. I have started making a point of going for a short walk mid morning and mid afternoon to help with circulation. Does/did anyone else have problems with swelling this early?

I put two plastic mail bins (you could use boxes) under my desk with a pillow so I always had my feet elevated. That helped. I also soaked my feet in epsom salts every night.

I put a step stool under the desk so they were elevated, even just a little. Then when I got home I basically just sat on my bed or the couch with my feet up the rest of the night. I just shoved my disgusting feet in front of DH and he didn't argue.

They never got 100% better, but they got less purple-y and painful. Ugh.

Yesterday when I got home I went grocery shopping, made dinner, and picked peas and beans out of the garden - note to self: stop doing that.

Walking made my swelling much worse. Feet up as much as possible and drinking plenty of water was all I could do. Take care

I still have an old school computer tower at my desk and my feet were always up on it. My bigger problem was my commute bc I couldn't elevate my feet while driving

Yup, I started having swelling from the same thing around 20 weeks. I'd put my feet up on the computer tower

I was told to elevate last time, and I thought they had to be way up (above my heart), but just up off the floir on a step stool counts :-)

I used a flipped trashcan to prop my feet on, I still use it now

My swelling just got worse towards the end where I went to get some compression socks for at night but by the time I did purchase some, I went into labor that night so I can't tell you if they worked out not.
