I'd like to know if I pay for an elective to specifically see my baby and find out the gender (I will be 16 weeks and some days when I go take it)
Are the odds more for me or against me?
Do you think it's a good idea? Or should I just wait for September when I'm 20 weeks...?
It's my first baby, I haven't seen a u/s since I was 8 weeks and I just am really anxious.
Any opinions will help me calm down and make a more educated decision.
My boyfriend is the one who suggested it and I've been bouncing off the walls excited since.
Re: is it a good idea???
I had one at 16 weeks, it was clear what I was having. They tend to be pretty accurate after 16 weeks.
Good luck.
Just ask.
Yeah, I know, people are rolling their eyes at my choice to bring this up, but you've been here long enough to know the difference.
I found out my daughter was a girl at 15 weeks. The tech was pretty sure of it. My husband convinced me to have another elective u/s last weekend. I was 16 weeks. The tech was pretty sure that it's another girl
If by "being politically correct" you mean "being sensitive to others," yeah, I would agree that she doesn't buy into that.
