So my first day of "modified bedrest" was spent with poor DS at the children's hospital. He woke up screaming at 230am with his leg stuck in the crib. I barely got it out but thought nothing of it. He was up every 15 minutes crying last night after, but I thought it was those darn molars so gave him Tylenol and put him to bed with us.
I went to put him on the ground this morning and he flipped out. Took him to emerg, they couldn't find the source of the pain, or anything from the X-rays. So they still think he has a toddler fracture so he now has a full leg splint that he can't walk on. We go back to emergency on Sunday to see if it's any better or he needs a cast.
My poor little baby! I guess the breathable bumpers are going back on the crib!
Re: DS's first injury - Toddler Fracure
He is struggling! He is such a busy body that not being able to put weight on the splint really bothers him. He's thrown a few tantrums from the frustration of it. I am trying to have him watch tv but no go so far.
