phone call from d/c

So I haven't had a phone call from d/c since April, when he had his last ear infection and then he got tubes in early May. Today I get a call, he is whiny, crying a lot and doesn't want to nap or play, just wants to be held. We think it's just his teeth as he is chewing and drooling like crazy. I had forgotten to put his Tylenol & Motrin in his bag so I had to run that to her. I'm praying he feels better now and will finally go down for a long nap, she said she would call me and update early this afternoon. Next Tuesday is his last day with this d/c, and he goes to a different in-home d/c then. So I'd hate for his last week with her to be difficult.

No real point to this, just hate it when my little isn't his normal happy self.

How is everyone else today?

    That sucks!  I have a special ring tone dedicated to d/c and so anytime I hear it, it's that sinking feeling in my stomach.  I hope that the pain killers do the trick!

    I'm having so much trouble with motivation at work these days, I'm so bored.  I make a list for myself at the beginning of the day and force myself to get at least those things done.  Ugh.  There's work to do, but no deadlines and I really need deadlines to get motivated.  Plus my boss is kind of checked out these days, so that's even less motivating.  So that's my day!

    Ugh that's the worst, i hate it when the little one is feeling crumby :(

    My day looks like this;
    Clean the kitchen
    Pack up the laundry room
    Trust DH to deal with our room
    Trust my sister and her friend to keep DS alive
    Be extra spider vigilant because i have killed FOUR brown widows in the last 24 hours *shudder*
    Make Zuppa Toscana for the girls for dinner
    Help DH clean the last of his gear to be turned in
    Make sure DS eats something other than pizza today
    Sweep, and mop.. Everywhere
    And if there is time, tackle the dining room

    7/5/11 MC at 8 weeks. 5/17/12 BFP, twins EDD 1/20/13! 6/20/12 Baby B's heart has stopped beating. 8/31/12 Baby A is a boy! And is perfectly healthy and thriving. 1/19/2013 emergency c-section, Thoren is perfect. 3/1/2013 told i will never be able to conceive again. 12/16/13 told they were wrong!

    It must have been teeth, he was fine a little after the Motrin and back to normal after a two hour nap. Thank goodness!
