Re: Activity Centers

  • I voted bungee cords, but we have both and my twin girls dont have long enough legs for either, so the one with cords I just bounce them myself and they get a kick out of it. They are 5 months

  • I have the Einstein one and I believe it says 4mo but I started a long time ago (around 2/2.5mo) but just recently started using it more often.
  • The twins love theirs!
  • We have a hand-me-down exersaucer that LO loves, he's been in it since just under 4 months. He's now 4.5 months and can sit for short periods unsupported which I think is key to him really enjoying it.

  • Doorway bouncer
  • Lol, mine like them for a little bit, they are just starting to fit. We have the one that hangs from the doorway and I want to get another one when they are old enough to use it for longer periods of time!

  • I have a doorway bouncer and will be picking up a stationary one as soon as I see a good deal.

  • Logan likes his for a little bit then just wants out but I think it's bc his feet don't touch all the way.

    A loves his jumperoo!
It's the rainforest one. I put a book under his feet and a towel behind him.

Haha. So cute! Looks like he's piloting a little space ship.

  • We have an evenflo exersaucer but I'm not sure the name of it. Got it used but it's in great shape. We also have a doorway bouncer. We end up stuffing blankets in around her since she's a little skinny for it and we put another blanket or pillow on the floor of the exersaucer. Like pp said, we use it for maybe 10 minutes tops since she get tired of it quickly. As she gets bigger I think she will like it a lot more.
  • We got a bright starts saucer not too long ago. She touches on the lowest setting and she loves it!

  • We have the rainforest jumperoo. It has activities to play with and all 3 have liked it, but takes up a ton of storage space .

  • We have both but I didn't think to pull either out yet. Probably in the next month when she can get a little more out of them. My son loved them!

We have the Baby Einstein exersaucer and the Fisher Price jumparoo. He's been in both for about a week now -- doesn't love either one yet
  • Hand me down exersaucer. She loves it! Also, she's so tall already that I had to move the seat up a notch.

DD had this ExerSaucer and she liked it well enough. I haven't tried it out on DS yet because I want his head control to be a little better first. My only complaint is that it was somewhat tricky to fit through a normal sized door once assembled.

  • We have the Baby Einstein one. He doesn't do much bouncing yet, but he loves to sit in it for about 10-15 a day.

  • I've been looking at them online for weeks trying to decide on one
I think I'm going to go with one with the floor rather than bungee cords
Still torn between a baby einstein one and this other one that is a three in one

Same. I out a block under his feet and wrap a blanket around him. image

  • We've have the bungee cord one (rainforest) but our son's PT said absolutely don't use them until he is attempting to stand on his own since it can cause precocious development of lower body muscles and cause hip problems.  With our older son he hated them all.

  • I was all excited to use our doorway bouncer from when DD was little, but then realized that we have 10ft tall doorways. Glad I saw this thread now that I need to find a good stationary one!
