  This is what I want to try but read somewhere that someone used it on walls and it took the paint off a little so wasnt sure if that would also happen with a crib.

  I use my magic eraser on everything.

  I would gently try the magic eraser first. If that doesn't work, you could try a soft cloth and a little Soft Scrub-- someone shared that trick with me to get stuff off walls and I was surprised by how well it worked without taking the paint off.
