  • How far along are you? 33 weeks, 1 day

Any rants/raves?  None baby related.  Work's been kicking my butt though and I'm ready to be done.

Any major milestones? I'm hoping that my blood pressure doesn't start to spike like with DS (which I was told it would likely happen earlier this time around).  Last time I was induced at 38 weeks and the doctors would like me to make it to 39 this time so baby is big enough for surgery.

Upcoming appointments? This is the last week that I don't have some sort of scheduled appointment (or two).

    Third Son - due June 9, 2018
  • @suitern - I'm glad you're feeling well.  I'm getting a lot of downward pressure as well that keeps freaking me out.  I'm sure you'll be relieved when bed rest is done.  Hang in there!

@JustCricket - Yay for having a good plan in place that everyone is comfortable with.  Let's hope that you are able to make it to at least 38 weeks and keep that baby cooking!

@GingerGiraffe - It's exciting to know when you'll get to meet baby girl!  Hope the next 12 days are smooth for you and LO!

  • How far along are you? 35 weeks

Rants/raves? I want my little guy to stay put for a while but I hurt so bad! I have recently discovered heartburn, I've had it twice and had to have DH tell me what it was bc I've never had it before! My legs are still cramping, I try to drink a lot of water and I've been doing stretches I got from my pt but neither of those are working. And I can't sleep, but I'm prepared for no sleep the next 6 months. Baby boy is getting so big and he doesn't move so much anymore, he's got a strong heartbeat and US look good, he just has no room :(

Any major milestones? Dr thinks I will go into early labor around 37 weeks, which is two weeks away so I'm patiently waiting for 36 weeks on Sunday.

Upcoming appointments? Next Thursday unless I need to go in sooner.
  • @LTMama, I have been 1 cm for well over a month, so hopefully you can just stay at that for a while! So happy for you to hit 34 weeks! Did they mention when you could get off bed rest?

I just had an appointment today and because I haven't had any issues for 6 weeks and have made it to 34w, all my restrictions have been lifted!  VBAC is back on the table too.  Very very good day.

Technically, I guess, I'm no longer high risk, but I'd like to come in and support you ladies.

    Awesome news @jpfeifer!!

  • @crystalangel79 - How far along were you when they scheduled your induction?  I don't see MFM again until August 20th.  I'm sorry you're in so much pain, but yay for better sleep!

  • Thanks, @suitern, @mytinc, and @crystalangel79

@suitern, that's reassuring to know that you've been hanging in there at 1cm.  I go back and forth between being concerned and figuring it doesn't really mean anything.

@crystalangel79, sorry you're in so much pain!  Hang in there!

  • @LTmama, from what I've been told and speaking with friends, second time Mom's often walk around dilated for a good portion of their pregnancy. Hopefully that is the case for you (and me ha ha)

  • Ok @crystalangel79, that makes sense.  I'm only an hour away from where I'll deliver.  My MFM just said they'll schedule the induction when my regular ob gives them the heads up that my cervix is "ripe."  They want me to last 39 weeks as well.

And yes, inductions can take a while.  I was induced with DS due to high blood pressure and it lasted over 21 hours (7 pm until 4:48 pm the next day).

  • Woo hoo! It's August!

How far along are you? 35+5

Any rants/raves? Lots of downward pressure. I counted peeing 4x in a 2 hr timeframe while working today and had a weird experience at work: a lady who asked how far along I was before I told anyone I was pregnant (I only just tested at the time) told me tonight I was going to have the baby. I was a little weirded out due to her strange ability to see into my ute. (She also told me it was a girl before I knew). Her reasoning was "I've had 6 kids, I know."

Any major milestones? 2 days away from my 36w milestone. Dr said on Tuesday if baby comes he'll take her and we'll get to stay together, no nicu expected.

    Upcoming appointments?
Next Thursday. Which is also kindergarten orientation dsy for DS :(

well that's not obnoxious of her at all. I mean I guess people like that are well intentioned enough, but still.

  • I know right? I did end up with timetable contractions last night though but they stopped. So it was equally as creepy.

Cool! Our babies will be birthday buddies! @crystalangel79‌

  • 36+1 here.

Milestone: RCS is in exactly 23 days. Woohoo!

Rant: Had a breakdown last night. Had to pee 2x in 20 minutes. I just can't keep getting up that often. Smh

Next appt in 2 weeks. Thought I'd be on weeklys by now.
