So by LMP, I was due 2/14 (by one dr). Also 2/16 (by the NP). I take the due dates with a grain of salt. DS was due 1/19 and I had him 1/15.

Well, by my dating u/s, they changed it by almost a week. I'm due either 2/20 or 2/22. I don't really care that much about about a due date. It's late second week/early third week in Feb.

What make me sad, is that originally,I would have been 13 weeks on Saturday. Now I will be 12 on Sunday. I want kiss first tri bye already!

In a way it makes sense, I took 3 HPTs before I got a BFP. I must have ovulted later. I knew I was pregnant but kept getting BFN until the 4th day of testing.

Eh, oh well...

@krendal1990, I heard those tests were really awesome. I bought 6 of them and it took forever to get a BFP lol. I think last 2 showed a BFP. So I'm pretty sure I o'd late.

Same thing happened to me. According to LMP due date was 2/6 then went to my first u/s and was only 9 weeks 2 days and I was supposed to be 12 weeks exactly that day! I was very happy to see a heart beat and even see the baby's arm moving around but I was kinda bummed I was only 9 weeks. I'm glad I'm not the only one who had mixed feelings lol so now my due date is 2/25

but I am SOOOO ready for 1st tri to be over! In one more week I will be caught up and see new information

I was tracking my cycle using temping to confirm ovulation. I ovulated cycle day 21--three days later than my usual ovulation date of cycle day 18. So, going by LMP is very inaccurate for me since the LMP method assumes a 28 day cycle, ovulation on CD 14.

Ultrasounds can also be off by a few days, but my ultrasound happened to be right in line with the date I told the docs I ovulated--go figure.

Unless you ovulated cycle day 14, using the LMP method is going to be wrong.

I hear ya. My due date was off by a week so that I'm due 2/22 and it sucked being a week farther from the end of first tri! I'm glad that I got my dating US though because I am only "allowed" to go 2 weeks past my due date at the birth center or I have to deliver at the hospital. I'd rather have it later than earlier!
