Just wanted to give an update for those of you who gave me advise the other day about my job situation. (Recap: had 2 good interviews with a great company, they were originally willing to consider part-time but changed their mind & said they needed full-time, I didn't know if I could handle leaving my 8 month old but DH was hating his job plus had student teaching coming up in a few months for his credential program. I considered going into private practice but was torn on what to do).

Well I did call the company back & left a message letting them know I decided I could do full-time. I asked if it was even possible for me to still be considered for that, but then I didn't hear from them for several days & was worried it was a no. But then they finally called at the end of the week & offered me the position, & they had compromised with 4 days a week!! I was SO excited! Working 4 days will still enable my DH to go down to part time at his job (he'll work just 2 days/week on my off days), & the 3 days I'll have off every week will help me not feel so depressed about leaving my baby! Honestly it couldn't have worked out better, & I am SO happy! Thank you for the great advice & helping me get the courage to go for it.
