I haven't made a post here before but I have commented a lot.
I went for my follow up appointment, and my midwife said she scheduled me a u/s due to the kidneys were higher than normal.
I tried to get her to elaborate on that, and she just kept saying higher than normal. Does that mean higher in position? Larger? So many questions. I did a mistake a googled. Some wasn't to bad, but some were. She wants a u/s ASAP.
Not asking for you to dx me. Just wondering if you've heard of higher than normal kidneys.

Re: Kidneys
Either way I have no experience jut sending you positive vibes that you get some answers. I agree with @Nicb13. Call back and get an answer as to what they are looking for and what it means. Not knowing will make you crazy!
Good luck!
The baby's kidneys. I asked her numerous times at the appointment because my last ultrasound was around 21 weeks and I'll be 31 weeks on Friday. Why such a long wait? Why not a mention before.
Thank you all for comments. She didn't really say anything other than they seem higher than normal.
I take metformin for PCOS, and they told me to continue taking during pregnancy. Since I didn't take it with my first cause my dr then said not to I'm wondering if the medicine can cause some problems.
Of course I'm a worry wart! I want my rainbow baby to be healthy!
