Another annoying name poll..

Sorry for anyone getting sick of these. I'm stuck with our girl name choices and just want some further opinions. It will be one of these two, so I'm not giving an SS. I know these are less common names, but I love them for that. A little background, my grandpa named Ray(mond) passed away in May, and we found out we were pregnant the day after his funeral. If it's a boy we are doing the middle name as Raymond. If it's a girl, mn as Ray for one, but with the other it is too cutesy so her nn would be Ray instead. Mn for that is H's grandma's mn. We find out what we are having on the 22nd!

    I LOVE Layla! That's be of my all time favorite names. And I think Ray for the mn is adorable and really sweet for you grampas memory.

    I know 2 Aurelias in real life.  :)  They're 4 (I think 4) and 2.5.

    I like Aurelia. I think that is a very elegant name for a woman to grow into, and Ray is a cute nn for a young girl. I always think of Colin firth in love actually pronouncing this name.

    I think Aurelia is way prettier than Layla, but I'm not sure I see a nn being Ray. Maybe Lia, but not Ray. *shrug*

    I picked Layla Ray. I think Aurelia is a pretty name.. but I wouldn't know how to pronounce it and I had to go back up to the top twice to make sure I spelled it right. I'm also not sure how I feel about Pearl as a middle name. For those reasons, I picked Layla :)

    I love Layla Ray! Great way to remember your grandpa. Aurelia is pretty but I'm not sure how to pronounce it and I don't love the nickname Ray for a girl.

    I think I like Aurelia more. It sounds more modern yet elegant. And 'Ray' is my last name. So, I am biased and like it however it is used :) Nice way to remember your grandfather!

    I've never watched Love Actually. The movie Fools Gold with Mathew McConaughey and Kate Hudson came to mind when I saw the pronunciation. They are looking for the treasure from a Spanish ship called the Aurelia. I love that movie! Mainly because McConaughey has his shirt off almost the entire time  ;)

    Layla because a dear friend is Layla and it is such a pretty name.

    Love both names personally.  Voted for Aurelia though because it is super pretty and not one you hear every day (PS also going home and watching Love Actually as a result of this:) )

    I love Aurelia .... my Mom's former best friend (who was like an aunt to me) named her daughter a similar name, Aurelie (Which is like Aw-ray-lee).  It's unique but also a great name for both a little girl and for an adult

    Layla is a great name too... but between the two, Aurelia feels more elegant and unique so stands out more to me.
