Feel like the worst mom ever. Baby girl fell of the bed for the first time this morning. I left her on our bed for 1 second with pillows around but she pushed the pillows and kinda fell with them. She cried i think more because of surprise because she pretty much calmed down when i picked her up. She seems fine and was laughing and waving at herself after so I'm hoping she's ok but still so scary. Thankfully we have a cardio appt today that i'm going to ask them to check her..

I feel so bad...

DD took her first tumble a few weeks ago. I put her in her highchair and thought the tray had latched all the way, but apparently it hadn't. I was making her breakfast and heard a thud and looked over to see an empty high chair. Probably one of the worst feelings of my life. Thankfully, due to my messy house, I had some craft supplies near the table and she landed on a big bag of yarn which cushioned her fall. Thank God she landed on that and didn't hit the table or bench instead. We were both very scared and traumatized though. Poor baby was grasping her toy for dear life when I scooped her up. This happened to us as well. Scariest moment of my life!! I learned my lesson and she is always buckled in and I always have a hand on her when trying to clean her up etc. My LO fell when I had turned to grab a towel to get her cleaned up, I had moved the tray and it must not of locked it back in and next thing I know she was on the floor (stupid stupid stupid!). Luckily she didn't cry very long once I grabbed her but oh boy I felt like worst mother in the world for days. Anyways, we all have our moments that we aren't proud of, the most important thing is that you're LO is ok and that you learned from it. Don't worry everything will be ok.
