We have a lot to whine about these days but I want to know what you have to be grateful for today!

I'm grateful for the giant kick to the ribs I just got. Hi baby girl! Glad you enjoyed our lunch. I'm also grateful that my husband took our dogs to the park yesterday, let them get good and muddy and have a great time AND bathed them when he got home! Today they're just snoozing away and not bothering me to play.

I second the being grateful for maxi dresses and flip flops!
I am also grateful for the landscaping guys currently levelling my backyard so I can have a fenced in yard for the dog and a deck for baby and I to cuddle on!!

I'm grateful that breastfeeding has given me huge boobs so that my stomach, while certainly not flat, looks much smaller by comparison than it did a week ago!

I am grateful that I am only allowed to work 8 hours a day, so I can leave an hour earlier than everyone else.

I'm grateful that I'm on maternity leave and don't have to deal with the beginning of the month grocery store rush because everyone's EBT cards are loaded

I'm also grateful that today is only 90* and not 100+

I am grateful that every week at my appt, my OB has measured my fundal height and not once said that anything was measuring off, so that now I am approaching my due date I can ignore the people saying "What?? you're only 5 days away from your due date? You're so TINY, why is your bump so small??"

(NGL, it does feel smaller to me, but he dropped, and it's more egg-shaped now, and I feel self conscious enough already, people!)

Also grateful that it's lunchtime for me in a bit and I am going to go eat something delicious.

I'm great full little emma weighs roughly 4 lbs now and has moved into an open air crib. Huge strides over night...let's hope she continues to improve and she'll be coming home soon!

I'm grateful that no one can hear me grunting when I turn over in the middle of the night. I mean, really, I sound like a dying cow. But sometimes a girl's gotta grunt.

I'm grateful that I haven't gotten any stretchmarks this pregnancy! I still have pale tiger stripes from my first and from gaining weight afterwards but nothing new and purple!

I'm grateful for a low-key, uncomplicated pregnancy this time. My DS1 went into complete heart failure at 28 weeks, and I spent the rest of my pregnancy on hospital bed rest on toxic levels of heart meds so that they would cross the placenta to him and keep his heart healthy.

I'm also grateful that at DS1's last cardiologist appointment, there was no sign of his heart condition on ANY of the tests, OR after wearing the Holter for a few days. Cardiologist says "CURED".

Also grateful for maxis and flip flops. Cuz zippers ain't happening anymore and tying my shoes isn't either. Lol

I love this! I'm grateful that baby didn't mind seeing Arcade Fire last night! I don't know how many people attend a 50,000 person concert 38 weeks along, but baby loved dancing in my belly as I danced in my seat!

I'm grateful for DH and my family. He's been doing so much to help around the house. We moved while I was in the hospital having our son. Our family did all the rest of my packing and the entire move for us.

I'm grateful for being healthy. The ability to carry life inside me has made me learn so much more about myself than I ever though possible. It's also made me love BF in a completely new and unimaginable way. And for loving a little being I haven't met yet is both terrifying and magical.

I'm grateful for feeling pretty good these last few weeks. Even though I'm sore, can't sleep, and feel squished, at least I'm not still puking!

I'm also grateful that this baby has been cooperative so far. No big scares, no pre-term delivery, etc. I hope she continues on this healthy, cooperative path!

I'm grateful for my sweet little sister. All of my family lives out of state except her, and I'm so lucky. I had a rough day on Wednesday where I could not stop crying. I get home to flowers and chocolate. But the chocolate made my heartburn kick in, so she came back over with ice cream. She is always so sweet and thoughtful.

I'm grateful to be having a baby, period. So many, including dear friends of mine, struggle tremendously with getting (and staying) pregnant. With them in my heart, I feel so much gratitude and appreciation that I get to be in this position in the first place. I have zero complaints.

This is such a great thread! It's nice to have a reminder of all the wonderful stuff in our lives. I'm grateful I have a healthy baby girl growing inside me. I'm grateful for my amazing husband who always supports and understands me. I'm grateful for having my parents close by and for all the help they have given me throughout my pregnancy. Last but not least I am grateful for my incredible baby girl, DD1, she is the light of my life!

I'm grateful for my mom who flew in Tuesday to help me and will be here 3 weeks. I'm also grateful for my sweet DD who has been the center of my world for the last 2+ years and can't wait to see her be a big sister soon! I'm grateful this pregnancy has been relatively fast and painless and also grateful that baby boy will be here soon, even if he decides to be a bit late.

I'm grateful that my work finally found me a sub!!! Students start back Monday.... cutting it a bit close, but I go in to meet the sub today, then I'm gone until October. So weird to not be starting back when everyone else does, but happy that I will have time home to spend with the baby when she gets here

Loved all of these ladies! Today I am grateful that it is my second to last committed shift at work. I'm glad I've felt good enough to work at such a physically demanding job this long (38 weeks on Thursday) but I'm ready to start taking it easy now! I'm also grateful that my work is throwing me a baby shower tonight! I've only been at this hospital for a bit over a year and I am touched they wanted to do this for me.

Grateful that my husband has taken all the nighttime feedings since I got out of the hospital. Recovery has been hard, but I have great support. And sleep is crazy essential for me right now.

I am so grateful for the support my husband and I have had. Our families are very busy but have taken time to help us as much as they can. And the food. Everyone has brought us food and stocked our huge freezer. It's awesome. Oh and the naps. So thankful for anyone who helps me out so I can nap!
