  • What always helped me is all cranberries! What's best is pure pure cranberry juice which is usually pricey and you have to dilute it because it's strong stuff, but it really works. I also ate cranberries as well. I hope you feel better soon

  • I had one in the first trimester and it totally sucked. Good Luck!

  • See if you can take cranberry pills. You can get them at the Vitamin Shoppe.
  • That is the absolute worst. I get them all the time and they are awful. I never find that anything helps except chugging fluids as fast as I possibly can and (obviously) antibiotics. Feel better soon!!

  • I did learn a lesson: to call the doctor immediately when you think something might be going on. I probably could have had this solved Monday if I were not so hard headed. It took less than 5 minutes for the diagnosis. If you're feeling crummy, just call your doc especially if you're in pain for days.

  • Sometimes you call your doc and go in and they tell you that you don't have a UTI even though you KNOW you do...so you wait it out for a few more days until you're in so much pain that you end up in the ER and are told that you should have come in earlier because you almost have a kidney infection.

I'm sorry you're having to deal with that! I hate UTIs with a passion when I'm NOT pregnant so I can only imagine how uncomfortable it is when you are pregnant.
