PP sex

So tonight was the first time MH and I had sex. Surprisingly it didn't hurt like I thought it would. But I have a question. I had a c section, and after we did it I went to the bathroom to clean up, and I was bleeding. It wasn't just a little it was enough to make me wear a pad to bed so I don't get blood on my underwear. My period ended last Friday. So I'm just wondering if bleeding is normal?

    I'm 12 weeks pp and have had all kinds of wonky bleeding... It comes and goes-- is heavy then not. Did you labor at all? If so, maybe your cervix is still pretty sensitive?

    I wouldn't worry unless your are bleeding through a pad in an hour. Ive been bleeding on and off randomly. I think our bodies are still trying to get back to normal!

    Random light bleeding is common for even up to 4 or 5 months PP.

    I didn't have any labor. I had a scheduled c section. It seems my period is on it's normal schedule as it was before getting pregnant. So maybe my lady bits are still sensitive. The bleeding stopped and there was only a little blood on the pad this morning. I'm not too concerned about it. I just wanted to know if other ladies have had this happen.

    I've been bleeding, slow, medium-flow, for the last 8 days and I'm EBF. Not sure why. Could be period, but it's not how it used to be pre-partum. Glad to see random bleeding is normal.

    Sex in water is actually worse for the dryness. If you're worried about the leaky ladies, keep em covered. And what sensitivity do you have to condoms? I have a slight latex allergy and we switched to Lifestyles Skyn and have no issues in the 5+ years we've used them.
