24 weeks and boobs leak when squeezed???!!!

So first time mom and I've noticed that my nipples get crusty now and when I squeeze them they leak!! Should this be happening now??

Oh my gosh this would make my SO's day! He's always squeezing my boobs and asking why I'm not shooting out milk lol! I'm 27 1/2 weeks and I haven't noticed anything coming out yet, but yeah it's definitely normal to be happening.

I've been told it's normal. I've been leaking since about 20 wks. H is terrified to squeeze my boobs too hard now. He's not quite comfortable with my liquid gold yet.

Hm, I've read the opposite. According to this on kellymom.com, "there is considerable reason to believe that pumping, like breastfeeding, will not trigger preterm labor in a healthy pregnancy."

It does say that nipple stimulation at term (38+ weeks) can help ripen the cervix and induce labor.

@lissydee so it is true? I thought Kelly Mom was reputable for breast feeding info. Ugh. It's so hard to know what is right and what isn't!

I have not read the article but I was told that if I was breastfeeding when I got pregnant I could continue to breastfeed without and repercussions. If not you don't want to pump or breastfeed until after the baby is born because it can cause contrations. (I really wanted to start a freezer stash early)
