I love doing workout dvds on days I can't get motivated to go to the gym. Does anyone have any prenatal yoga/other prenatal workout dvds they recommend? It doesn't have to be anything to easy, I've been doing yoga for a couple years.
I've been doing Suzanne Bowen's Slim & Toned Prenatal Barre Workout and her Long and Lean Prenatal Workout and I love them. They're broken up into short 20-minute workout segments with a 5-minute stretch at the end, so it's easy to squeeze in a quick session or combine segments for a longer workout. I got both DVDs on Amazon for about $15 each I think.
I've been doing the prenatal version of Ballet Beautiful (pilates). I think it's called Ballet Baby. I bought the streaming videos so I can watch them anywhere - on my TV, computer, phone. I don't think they're particularly intense, but I'm definitely seeing and feeling the results/benefits after 3-4 weeks. It's kind of pricey ($50 for 9 short videos) but I feel like it was worth it for me and I love that I can choose different combinations each day to mix up my routine.
I have the Complete Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga. It feels challenging enough even though I'm not a beginner and gives modifications for each trimester. It's a little cheesy and looks like it's filmed in someone's living room, but I still really like it.
