Hello all
I am 38 and have been referred to perinatologist / maternal fetal medicine specialist. I have had spotting /bleeding my whole pregnancy. Obstetrician is monitoring cervix. I am 22 weeks along. Any advice or experience with this kind of specialist. Thank you in advance for any replies.

Sono- TWINS!!!!
Two Boys! Born January 2015 @36 weeks. Healthy and no NICU! So blessed!
And I just barely turned 36 and yet all my paperwork has been saying 'elderly'. I was 35 when I first saw them. I mean come one, AMA I understand, but elderly???... Don't think so! My 62yo parents may be elderly, not a 35yo chick...
I had twins at 35, so yea, same here MFM.
Now preggo again, at almost 36, so yea prob will have to go again.
I kind of liked it because I got to get ultrasounds every 3-4 weeks and saw the babies and they did those cool 3-D ones for free and took still pics of them so it was actually a very good experience for me.
I was lucky that I had no complications (until the end - preeclampsia - yikes!) so I did really enjoy seeing the little buggers all the time. Plus calms your nerves with hearing the heartbeats all the time!
