  I put the Boltons as first in the line of horrible people. I mean, their sigil is an upside down flayed man (I think he's upside down? It's been a while since I read the books). If that ain't evil, I don't know what is.

  Like SRC said, they're complex characters.  Other than Joffrey (and maybe Tywin), they've got mostly selfish motivations, but I don't think that makes them specifically evil.  They're just basically messed-up rich people.... They're used to having power, and having things their way.  It doesn't necessarily make them evil.

  I agree with what everyone said about them being complex and it depends on which one you are talking about.

  The only reason I know the term "Lannisters" is because of @maryannespier's signature. And I always think of those dancing Snuggie folks in their lawn chairs when I hear it.
