Pregnant after a Loss

Water Breaking??? + MUCUS PLUG

Soo.. about 2 hours ago i was about to jump in the shower when i felt a trickle down my leg.. it was clear and had no smell to it. I know it wasn't urine.. so does that mean its my waters?? After the trickle I lost some mucus plug ( decent amount) but not bloody. just snotty (have been losing my plug for the past 1-2 weeks) i also lost quite a bit this morning. It does seem more than usual. I phoned up delivery suite and they told me to keep an eye. I haven't lost anything else since but have lower back ache and as I'm typing shooting pains/ pressure in my bum !! Any ideas?

Re: Water Breaking??? + MUCUS PLUG

  • @TMaggie0424 no?? But i did feel like a click in my belly this morning? like when you crack your fingers? ever so quiet. Hmmm...

@RN536 no, they don't want me :(( lol !! Im not wet anymore and no more water or plug.. only thing is my lower back pain and odd shooting pains. I have a pad on so will keep checking ha x

  • @RN536  i know!! I am feeling some odd movement in my lower abdomen area as i type.. hopefully this parcel will be coming soon!!

@Birch113 eek! i hope so?? And my OH is under the illusion that when my waters break he will need swimming trunks and goggles :)) hahaha
  • I has back labor with DS. It was bad stabbing/shooting pains in my low back to my buttocks. I just thought it was back pain at first (I have back issues) until I realized that pains were timable. I would keep track of the pains. As for the water breaking, I had the "popping" feeling followed by a big gush, but many women start with a slow trickle.

i hope sooo !! feeling a bit down coz my pad is dry as a bone  :-w  hoping something happens soon! the suspense is killing me lol
  • i only had a trickle with DS too.  he was so low that his head was acting like a drain plug, lol.  i'd only get the barest trickle when i'd shift a certain way, until ctx really got going (then i'd get a trickle with each ctx).  i hope this is it!

  • In our childbirth class, they said that it could be anything from a one-time, small trickle to a gush. That combined with your back pain sounds like it might be go time.

  • Hope this is the start of something. Each time my water broke I had felt a pop. FX crossed for you!
