Toddler stories

H and I have noticed that LO likes to tell stories. For the most part they are cute and I know that she is trying to make sense of things. Sometimes though she tells us things that we know are wrong. Like last night she destroyed a pile of folded up clothes in her room, throwing stuff everywhere. When I came in and asked her what happened she tells me "Gabby came and did it." At first my H and I thought it was cute and blew it off. Now though we are wondering if we should ignore these kind of stories. The last thing we want to do is feed into them especially if they are wrong. Is anyone else dealing with this and how do you handle it?

@Meow84 I would love to read it. She has started doing it a lot and it is mostly about kids at her DC. If she see's dirt on the window or on the floor she will tell us Emma/Gabby/Logan did it. Since it has started happening more H and I are curious what we should do and if it is normal
