Tuesday workout- check!

Tonight my husband and I played tennis for an hour and it was awesome!!! I dread working out, but we had a blast and worked up a sweat!!! What did you do to get your workout in!?

  • I did a hip hop dance class this morning, it was a lot of fun.
  • Yeah, I laid flat on the surface of my second story deck with a couple packs of new tennis balls (so I for sure wouldn't have to walk downstairs to retrieve) and threw them down in the general direction of the yard so my dogs had to run up and down the stairs over and over to play fetch. Didn't have to walk them. Win.

  • I did 21 Day Fix Full Body Cardio. I only did about 17 minutes though because I pulled something in my back/side area.

  • I worked out 15 min elliptical 15 min bike 100 squats, curls and bench press....

Then I went to panera and devoured a bowl of broccoli cheddar soup and a grilled cheese. Mmm carbs & cheese.

  • I just found out I was pregnant
  • And I guess it cut off about half of my post
  • Pilates...but that's the first time I've done anything besides walking in 2 weeks. I had to leave work early for a nap so I would make it.

  • I just found out I was pregnant but I'm very athletic. I do crossfit up to five days a week. I know high impact is no good for my peanut but I don't see why I should have to stop going to classes completely. Any other crossfit mamas around here?
  • I work out every day at about 5:45 am. About 30-40 minutes of light cardio (elliptical or stationary bike) and another 30-40 minutes of Physique 57/light cross-training combo. During my workout is the best I feel all day. Once I hit my desk at work a couple hours later, it's all downhill from there with nausea, headaches, cramping, fatigue, etc.

My sister-in-law did crossfit during her whole pregnancy. She even competed when she was about 7 months. You can definitely continue doing what you were doing before, at least initially. You'll just need to really listen to your body and know when enough is enough.
