Good morning!

My DX has been updated to be PCOS. I have the high LH/fsh ratio, high Amh, and from ultrasound they think that's what it is. I had a feeling but I don't have any of the physical characteristics. I'm glad they finally told me a DX but my RE said he doesn't like to put labels on things because people get worried and start googling everything haha.

Anyway, I had my monitoring appointment on Friday and I had two follies about 20mm and a good lining (I think 10mm?) They gave me my trigger at the office since they were big enough and we are hopefully done with TI now. I need a day off! I start the progesterone supps tomorrow (can't wait!!!). I'm probably going to test out my trigger just since it's the first time. I'm excited to actually be in a 2WW for once!!

QOTW: We had an argument about who got to drink the last glass of wine. I wanted more but my DH had already drank it and I was mad he didn't save me any. I didn't want to open another bottle just for one more glass. I figure if that's all we have to argue about, that's pretty good.

I've been waiting for AF forever (or so it seems)! I think I read my OPK wrong this month, so the cycle isn't that long, just my LP. I have all of my meds for my IUI and can't wait to move on! Unfortunately we are having to move a trip to next weekend so we can avoid timing issues. Not looking forward to caring for and taking Gonal F while camping... but it has to be done.

QOTW: We rarely ever fight - usually only on a Friday night when we both want to go out to dinner but can't decide where to go. We are always super hungry, and nothing ever sounds good to either one of us. First world problems for sure...

IVF #2 is in full effect! ER will be one day this week. Last time I had 4 follicles shoot up early and we only got 3 at retrieval. Now we have 15 trying to do something! I can't help but feel hopeful. QOTW: We rarely fight, but we are both good bickerers. I can't think of anything specific right now. We routinely argue about who is in a bad mood and "started it."

IVF #1 was a BFN. We have two frosties and will be moving to a FET. I start BCPs today. I will start Lupron in about 2.5 weeks and then Estrace at the end of the month. Our FET is scheduled for 9/17.

QOTW: We bicker all the time and it's usually over simple stuff. I got mad at her once because she ordered a donut that was supposed to be mine, and I let her get one that I don't really care for. She thought it was supposed to be for her, and it wasn't. Once she understood, she felt really bad. I haven't let her live it down. I tell her all the time that true love is letting someone else get a donut you don't want, even though it is supposed to be yours.

Hi! I don't think I officially joined this.

I like to think 8/2013 because that's when we started BBT and OPKs and expertly timed intercourse.

3. What is your diagnosis (if you have one)?

MFI

4. What treatments are you doing?

DH is on clomiphene and vitamins. We'll be doing our first IUI next month--a medicated cycle, assuming a huge cyst on my ovary has subsided.

QOTW: What is one of the silliest fights you've ever had with your SO?

My DH and I don't fight often, but when we do, it's always silly. One of our earliest silly fights was a few months into our relationship, and it was over one of the Matrix movies. I don't remember the details, but we were arguing over what happened, and the fight was extremely intense. I think I called DH an idiot for missing a huge and obvious part of the plot, and he thought I was delusional. The fight started publicly on a metro and followed us home. Then we realized how stupid it all was! Now: 11+ years later and still going strong!

Just helping DH finish up all his summer coursework (he needs an English teacher's touch, Lol) before surgery on Tuesday. I try to tell myself this is just for period pain and not IF, so I will feel like it was worth it and a success regardless!

QOTW: Okay, so all of you who say you "never" fight, I don't care if you're telling the truth, I choose not to believe you. @iputketchuponketchup I am with you, every fight is clearly life-or-death important, and it's really tiring being right all the time, too. I guess our silly fight (but seriously, I'm telling you, it's important and I'm right!) is over opening the windows for fresh air. I do, he doesn't. I looooove fresh air, he apparently thrives on stuffy, humid air. So these windows get a lot of exercise going up and down....

@snakefisherbub I'm glad your recovery is smooth and more sore than painful! Wow, so sorry for that big fibroid and endo. At least it's a really good explanation for IF. But I hope that remaining part will not get in your way. Hoping for good news at your followup.

@emilee871 Congrats on that OPK+, even if you're just waiting for IVF...sounds like it feels good to have a body doing what it's supposed to.

Hey ladies! Well this cycle has a been a fabulously relaxing one! No meds at all

I have only POAS for opks a couple times ( I figured whatever I am just gonna chill this month!) Only thing I have been doing is temping/charting. Looks like I actually may have O'd on my own according to the chart! (Who knows though could be a fluke I was not really counting on it) So what looks like I am in the 2WW before AF so that I can get started on my new plan with an RE!!!! Will be switching from Clomid to Femara, midcycle US and Ovidrel Trigger with TI. I am feeling so good this month it makes me miss not taking drugs lol. SO I just wait I guess I will say I am 4dpo but not positve

This is probably the easiest 2WW I have had since we started this crud lol.

I was back on the road for IVF in August, but I got benched again Friday because my body officially hates me. I will be back on BCPs starting tomorrow for about 6 weeks. I am scheduled for IVF in September.

QOTD: We only seem to fight over stupid stuff. The best one was the day that we were packing up the Christmas stuff and the shelf was dusty. He said that I don't dust enough. We bickered back and a forth a while and it ended when I said "Fine, I just won't dust at all".

@DarcyHermione‌ Sorry that AF came. I'm sorry you're stressing about the HSG scheduling! I would think if you start the antibiotics as soon as tomorrow it would be okay, mine only had me start them the day before and continue for 5 days after. Good luck!

@Diordra‌ That's good! I'm terrible at not googling everything! I was also so anxious to know what the results were so it was nice to see them ahead of time. Hope you can get a follow up soon!

Just waiting, still waiting over here to get started with IVF. The only thing holding us back is my work partners' vacations. I carpooled to a party last night with coworkers and had to sit through the co-worker's wife gushing about their amazing Hawaiian vacation coming up in September and it was all I could do to distract myself as we would have cycled in Sept if not for this vacation they're taking. It's obviously not their fault, they've had it planned for months and none of us had any idea at that time I'd be needing IVF. Of course I can't expect someone else to plan their vacations around my elective reproductive treatments. But listening to vacation plans while I'm waiting to cycle is lame. On the plus side, it gives us more time to save money. We're hoping to cycle in October if my body cooperates. QOTW: It's always stupid stuff involving pet peeves!

I honestly have no idea what CD I'm on and my calendar is in the other room. I'm waiting to have my test review meeting with my RE and then FINALLY get to start doing something to get myself ovulating. I am just assuming that since I have probably very rarely ovulated in my life, if ever, I won't just magically start this cycle. It does take the pressure off though. I am so glad my husband did his SA so we don't have to schedule 3 days of abstinence again. That really put a damper on last weekend!

QOTW: My husband and I have never really fought about anything. The only thing that came close to a fight, which happens to be the silliest thing to fight about, was about facial hair. He decided to participate in Movember. I am not a fan of hair on my man and his mustache did not feel good when we kissed. But he would keep saying "Give me a REAL kiss" when I would just give him a peck. I told him I am not a fan of the mustache, but he insisted on keeping it for at least Movember and possibly longer. Finally, I got upset because I don't like kissing him with a mustache which affected our sex life, because kissing and sex are typically linked (and as you may be able to tell from my aforementioned hate of abstinence, it is a big part of our lives). He promised he would only do facial hair only for Movember. Darn scratch mustache and darn Movember!!!

@LindseyM2012 I know what you mean about the itchiness of kissing with the facial hair growing. H stays clean shaven, but if we ever are kissing and he needs to shave, it can be an irritant, but usually I can handle it. Over the July 4th holiday, I got sunburned on my lips--now that actually hurt kissing his stubble! Before we proceeded any further, I asked him if he would shave. Thankfully, he obliged.

I'm currently on CD4, and my period is just wrapping up. I went in for my baseline ultrasound on Saturday and everything looks good and there was only one tiny cyst from my last cycle on Clomid. However, they have switched me to Femara because even with the progesterone suppositories, my lining thinned a bit more than they would like to see. We will be doing another TI cycle with trigger this month.

Not much to report here. CD 17 on a natural cycle. We have the foster to adopt lady coming on Wed and it's finals week for school. I have a history final tomorrow. I have a 15 page paper persuasive argument paper due by midnight tonight and it's still a mess, I'm actually leaving work at 2 to go home and clean it up.

QOTW: we bicker more than argue, I think the silliest one that I can recall was when we were driving home from my MIL's and my husband let lose what may have been the smelliest fart known to man and I yelled at him and we fought about how smelly his farts are the whole way home. It's ridiculous now that I think about it. I made him sleep in the spare room that night because he was so gassy.

CD13 here. I just had my follicle scan so I waited until today to update. I had two follies one 16mm and one "beautiful" 22mm. DH gave me the trigger shot and IUI #1 is scheduled for tomorrow!! I'm so nervous but excited!

QOTW: Our only arguments come from trying to decide where to go out to eat. After reading these responses I see that that's pretty common! DH has a tendency to get "hangry" when it's time for him to eat so that doesn't help the situation!

Hey there! I am still in the 2ww on IUI #2 (7dpiui). Mostly staying busy with homework and working out regularly and reading.

The dumbest fight MH and I got into was over whether or not to buy a round plastic box to keep my Christmas wreath in. DH is super creative/artistic and he made me the most beautiful wreath one year for Christmas that matched my tree and everything (because I am weird and I really like everything to coordinate). We went to WalMart one day after Christmas and I saw these wreath keepers for $5 and he launched into a whole tirade about it being a waste of money and "that's how they get you" blablabla. We seriously almost got into a shouting match over it and then didn't talk to each other for several hours. Turned out in the end he was just hangry and decided to throw a tantrum. Sigh.

hey, late to check in - was away for the weekend and sometimes just sick of typing on my iphone! this is my first weekly check in on this board I think but I did do an intro.

When did you start TTC (month/year)? Active trying in December 2013 (this is our 7th cycle with good timing, meaning one of us wasn't travelling)

What is your diagnosis (if you have one)? I have endo blocking my R tube, a 1.8cm endo spot on my R ovary. Left tube is open but my RE wants to do surgery to remove endo and see if the left tube is really open or if it has some small endo blocking.

What treatments are you doing? So far just natural things like acupuncture, fertility tea, arvigo maya abdominal massage (daily self care), cut out coffee (except for once a week maybe) and cut back on wine and weed. RE wants to do lapro surgery for endo but said since my egg reserve is OK I can wait to try naturally more.

For everyone who is up to date on the above, where are you in your current cycle and how's it going?
I think this is 2 dpo or maybe 3. My temp went up over 3 days so I'm not sure. But last Tuesday the RE said my follicle on Left side (good side) was 18, and he thought I'd O on Thursday. My temp didn't go up significantly until yesterday though.

QOTW: What is one of the silliest fights you've ever had with your SO?

Hmmmmm....... when we fight they are so silly and almost always me being emotional or not communicative about something until it surprises both of us. I can't think of an example right now though! Sorry

@kushie77 So exciting, I hope the foster-to-adopt meeting goes great. What an exciting journey. I hope it moves smoothly. Good luck with your homework, I sure know that feeling!

And lol on the fart argument...DH and I argue over who is to blame. Hasn't he figured out by now that he always denies it, and I always admit to mine? The biggest fart fights, though, are over how he refuses to give me warning. It causes true suffering, I swear!!

@kmdecoux You were so clearly in the right there.

@lindseym2012 @tiffw2012 Lol about facial hair, DH knows he will only get kisses with my face angle just right and my hand over his chin, for protection, if his little stubbly beard and mustache are scratchy.

@bluejoan Oh, that's so wrong. Who hogs a woman's butter? I think we have the opposite problem, because DH and his parents all grew up poor, so they are super generous and refuse to take the good/last bite, etc. as a way to show love. Which drives me nuts because I don't like to be so generous and it's hard not to hurt his feelings! (But it's so sweet of him so I'm really working on that, of course).

Since iui # 2 was a BFN, we had our ivf consult today. It went pretty well. I took a whole list of questions, so I felt well prepared. Our RE gave me the option to start bc pills today ( since it's cycle day 3) and get started asap. I didn't really feel we were ready to jump right in though. I have a hysterosonogram scheduled for next week. DH and I also have to have b/w to check for infectious diseases. Basically the ivf nurse is going through our chart and seeing if there is anything additional that we need to do, and she is going to email us with a detailed price list plus the medication protocol that we will be using.

DH wants to wait a few cycles, because he completely cut out alcohol last week and he wants to give his sperm a chance to get into the best shape possible. They told me to start the bc pills the cycle before we want to get started, so our plan right now is to cycle in early November

QOTW: We fight all the time about the curtains being open in our family room. I want them open, so I can see the sun as soon as I wake up. He would sit in a dark room like a vampire all day if I let him, which I think is really gross and depressing.
