Tonight, just for fun, we asked our almost 2.5 year old if she was a boy or a girl.

She responded with "I'm a booby!"

We just laughed and told her "ok."

So now we have a new option when people want u/s guesses.... Boy, girl, intersex, or booby... haha.

Any other moms have gems from little kids?

I showed dd the u/s pic from today and asked her what she thought it was. It was a profile shot and dd is almost 2.5.

Her first response was "puppy"

Then "cat"

Then "swoop" which is one of our cat's names...

Hmmm nope kid. Way off lol

Hah. I asked my 2 year old this a while ago, "are you a boy?" "No" "are you a girl?" "No" "are you a dog?" "No" "are you a man?" To which he replied, "Uh huh." Nodding his head very seriously.

When my now 11 year old was little, everything was "hot" if it was a extream temp. Something really cold? " hot" and he would blow on it lol. He also called my husband hun for a few months, it drove my husband crazy but thats what i called him so my son copied!

My nephew is 1 year and 4 months - the minute someone starts signing "Happy Birthday" he starts moving his lips and lip syncing the song. Poor kid - we made him do it at least 15 times on Saturday because it was just too adorable.

When my nephew was about 3 he loved watching Toy Story 2. He would try acting out all the scenes and one day after he insisted on wearing his Buzz Lightyear costume I caught him leaning over the edge of my bed, looking down with his little arm stretched out saying "fadder (father)" to his zurg toy on the floor lol. He was so cute!
