clueless about strollers/carseats

I'm calling out stms here! I want to get the baby jogger city select but how does the carseat part work? I need an adapter so does that mean I can get any carseat? Where to start?! Lol

Not all car seats are compatible. They make adapters specific to the seat manufacturer. Check out https://www.babyjogger.com/product/city-select/ for the list of adapters available.

Ditto PPs. I did a lot of research before and was SURE I wanted the Britax Travel System, but once I got to the store and tested them out I changed my mind. We opted for the Britax infant carrier and the City Mini. We plan on getting a cheap umbrella stroller as well, but felt that the city mini was a better buy long term. I suggest going to a store and checking them out

I don't know if you have a Buy Buy Baby by you, but they offer appointments where you can meet with a sales rep and talk to them about your options. Other stores may do the same.

Forgot to add: we purchased the adapter to go with the infant carrier. It's about $20. We registered for the Britax Roundabout car seat as well for down the line with LO is bigger.

The basic car seat adapter is compatible for these car seats:

and it looks like the UppaBaby, Britax and Graco have specific adapters if you choose to use that instead of the universal one.
