As I have said before I'm a very young goin to be mom andd very clueless with pregnancy andd I wass invited by some friends to go to the fair Friday I'm wonderin if it's safe to ride fair rides while pregnant I'm pretty clueless so I have no idea

    Most of the rides will have signs posted saying that if you are pregnant, handicapped, etc, you shouldn't ride them.

    I don't know of the specific risks involved with going on rides, but it seems like a bad idea to me. I also would not ride them.

    I wouldn't. It seems like all the jostling might be asking for trouble and something like a carousel or Ferris wheel would probably make me vomit. I hate to say be the purse holder, but go and have fun! Take crazy pics of your friends faces on rides!

    If the Ferris wheel or carousel rides won't trigger MS for you those are probably fine. I'd skip everything else and enjoy some fried dough!!

    I only do the carousel if my daughter insists. It makes me super dizzy though.

    Oh for the love of fair food i want to go too!!

    I wouldn't ride the rides. We took DD when i was pregnant with DS and i threw up in the trash can from watching her and DH on the carousel. Classy!

    There will be warnings posted for certain rides. You can't ride while pregnant.

    Good rule of thumb is, if it has a seatbelt or lap bar than its not safe.
    I just went to the fair last week and had a deep fried Twinkie... Now I want another.

    I went to our state fair two weekends ago, which has a water park attached to it. I didn't ride any of the rides, not even the Ferris wheel, even though I felt just fine. But I did enjoy some funnel cake, fried snickers bars, corn dogs, and the water parks lazy river and wave pool felt fantastic! I personally wouldn't ride the rides, but the Midway, if they have one, will be just as fun!
