Hi ladies, so glad to back on this board. I had a lot of great support with my previous losses. A little history for you. DS #1 was born in 2008. In 2011 I had a c/p and 2 early losses around 8 weeks , followed by D&C's bc my body would not take care of it on its own. After my 3rd loss I was referred to a maternal fetal specialist who did lots of blood work. It was discovered that I had a lot of anti-inflammatory issues, which was causing blood clots and not letting the babies grow. So his recommendation was extra vitamins, and baby aspirin. And then once I got a BFP I would start on progesterone and heparin shots. Finally in 2012 I gave birth to DS #2. Could not be happier. Love them both so much!
So I found out I was pregnant again and I am now 6 weeks. I started on everything needed as soon as I got a BFP. I had my first ultrasound today and I was crushed a little. My specialist was not concerned at all. He said that he has this every day, people come in at 6 weeks and don't see a fetal pole and a week later there is one with a strong HB. He said I most likely Ovulated later than I thought. Which I wasn't charting, so that could make sense. At my appt we saw a gestational sac and yolk sac that both looked normal. No fetal pole yet. Which is what concerns me. With DS #2 at 6 weeks we saw a fetal pole with a strong HB. So I go back in a week for another ultrasound.
Have any of you ladies ever experienced anything like this? Just really need some encouragement right now. I had the waiting game, it really stresses me out. Hoping to stay on this board and getting know all of you. Thanks for listening. Sorry so windy!

My first ultrasound was a little before 6 weeks (5 wks 5 days I think) and I also did not see a fetal pole, only a gestational sac and yolk sac. 9 days later the fetal pole and heartbeat were both there
