GMD Workhorse: Snaps vs. Snapless

In your opinion, which is easier to get a better fit with?
Particularly on a newborn.

GMD Workhorse with Snaps or Snapless with a snappi?

    Yup.

  • I bought snapless for our newborn stash because that (with a snappi) seems to be the favorite of this board for the best fit.

  • I've never used snapless before - is there a learning curve to the snappi?

No, not really. You just attach the two sides first then pull the bottom tab. It took me maybe two tries to get it on tight enough.

Yes ^^^  And don't forget to stretch them out first if they are brand new.
  • So glad you asked because I was wondering.

Another fan of snapless with a snappi here. However my mom refuses to use them, she has some arthritis in her hands and therefore finds it too hard to use.
That is something I was concerned with. My 66 year old Mom will be watching LO twice a week and has some joint issues.

Maybe I'll buy a mix of snaps and snapless?

  • Agree with snapless with a snappi. My MIL also has been able to change him into a clean diaper with no issue. I just had to teach her how to fasten the diaper with the snappi.

Probably a good idea. The snaps aren't the easiest snaps -could be tough for someone with arthritis depending which part of their hands are most affected. Especially snapping the last one when thete is leds remaining access. But if you do some of each in the newborn size you can see which works best for her and your LO then know what to get for bigger sizes.
