@jszy10 my friends and I did a girls trip to Pennsylvania back in 2008 and fell in LOVE with your state. It's Beautiful! We especially loved Lancaster and State College. One day when I have a kid applying for college, I hope they decide on going to Penn State
My Up-Date is no longer really valid for this group as we are done but I just wanted to chime in.

TTC since September, 2005 (8 yrs and 9 mos - but who's counting)
Dx: PCOS, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis
Tried to conceive naturally on just clomid off and on for several years.
IVF #1: 4-24-2014: Started an IVF Cycle on Clomid, my body didn't respond so it was cancelled.
IVF #2: 7-11-2014: BFFN
Our RE believes I have an Immune Disorder that destroys my eggs and our embryos.
We decided against any more testing or procedures with Infertility and are Happily waiting to Adopt our little one.

My newest anxiety is whether or not the pregnyl worked when I triggered... There's always something new to be anxious about! Lol. I guess if I get to the end of the day and no one has called me then I'm good to go for ER tomorrow. I have done the pregnyl for my four IUIs but still was so nervous mixing it last night!
I had "pre-op" today. Beta is scheduled for 8/22! Tentative ET is 8/8 (day 3) but hopefully will be moved to 8/10 for a 5d. In between there I have a birthday... They said they will not do embryo updates after the first Fert report but that I can call in and ask.
QOTD: I am in Orlando, Fl. I was born in Cocoa Beach (my dad was in the Air Force and stationed at Patrick AFB at the time). I grew up just south of there. I will likely stay here since our small family is all here. (Well my BIL moved away but both our parents and my sis are here). And when I say stay here I mean Orlando... Where I grew up is way too small town feeling to me even though it isn't really.
2008: HSG (normal), couple rounds of clomid through gyno
2008 - 2010: dragging my feet out of fear and procrastination
October 2010: first consultation with RE, dx PCOS and fibroids (DH slightly low count/motility)
Oct. 2010 - Dec. 2012: In DENIAL! avoided the issue because I was scared of surgery
January 2013: returned to RE, fibroids grew significantly
February 2013: second HSG, fibroids pushed on tubes which blocked them somewhat
March 2013: MRI to determine what type of surgery may be necessary
July 29, 2013: fibroids (5) removed via robotic laparascopy
August 2013 - Nov 2013 : benched due to recent surgery
IUI #3, Feb. 25, 2014 BFN
IUI #4 canceled due to lack of response to letrozole
IUI #4.1 April 28, 2014, BFN
May 16, 2014: wtf consult, start prepping for IVF in June and add injects for one last IUI in the meantime
IUI #5 started letrozole and bravelle but canceled after HSG led to new diagnosis
May 21, 2014: third HSG, tubes blocked, one at the beginning, one hydrosalpinx??
IVF #1 August 8, 2014 - 3dt of 2 embryos, BFN
September 17, 2014 - 4th HSG, the right tube is very patent (open!!) dye went straight through this time. Weird!
October 2, 2014 - started metformin treatment
November 14, 2014 - blood work, brought A1C down from 5.8 to 5.5
November 26, 2014 - RE finally back from vaca and reviewed my chart, no more IVFs for rest of calendar year
December 1, 2014 - Right after Thanksgiving, I called a new clinic and got in right away! Plan for IVF
December 17, 2014 - ER! 29 retrieved (!!), 16 mature, all 16 fertilized (ICSI)
IVF #2 December 20, 2014 - 3dt of 3 embryos, BFN
We are done with treatment unsuccessfully.

@jszy10 - you have will power that I just don't have. I always wanted to know before the phone call. I didn't want to be surprised. I also always got AF before my actual scheduled beta.
@denbk - I'm glad you are doing better and that you're looking at adoption. C and I will as well if this all doesn't work out. We both have always wanted to adopt.
I'm honestly having a hard time with all of this. I know it will pass, and I will have hope again, but I don't right now. I did start BCPs yesterday for our FET cycle. I will start Lupron in two weeks.
I'm going to discuss with our RE whether we will transfer one or both. Their typical protocol is to transfer two for FETs, but I want as many tries out of this as possible before we start from scratch again.
QOTD: We live in Southwestern NY, near the PA border. We are outside of a small ski town called Ellicottville. We are about an hour and a half south of Buffalo. I was born here and have lived here most of my life. I did live in Novi, MI for a few months back in 2007.

We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

@StacyLH24Thank You! I really am so excited about it. Hopefully it won't take us long to find the one.
I also hope this FET cycle is the one for you. You are such a strong woman to do one right after the other. If I would have had extra embryos and the chance of it possibly working I don't think I could have done the same.

@GrailSeeker14 - my DH has been the same way. He even started to move his office into the downstairs office so it's ready for the nursery. I cried. I'm not going to lie, if this cycle is a bfn, I think he might take it worse than me

AFM- I know it's early, but I'm not sure that we'll get our BFP this cycle. I'm still hoping, but I have 0 symptoms and my boobs stopped hurting. *****loss briefly mentioned***** with our pregnancy before I got positives 10/11 dpo and shad major smell/food aversions.

@snegde we are focusing on adoption now.
Last October we were given the chance to possibly adopt a baby girl but it fell through. After that, we were 100% on board to adopt although I feared that I would always wonder if Invitro would have worked and wanted to try just once. Which lead us to this expensive journey.
But now I know what I would have always wondered. Now I am just so Excited to adopt and hoping it happens quickly.

Anyway, they retrieved 22 eggs!! No idea yet on how many are mature though... I guess I'll just go straight to finding out how many fertilize tomorrow. I have no memory of having a convo with the RE, but apparently I asked him multiple times how many they got LOL.
My DH took a short video of the video screen he was watching so that's cool that I got to see some of it. The cramping was pretty intense there but has subsided somewhat. It is low though and sort of spreading into my vaginal area but the nurse said that was normal.
OH, and the nurse who did the IV was awesome and that didn't hurt at all!!!

2008 - 2010: dragging my feet out of fear and procrastination
October 2010: first consultation with RE, dx PCOS and fibroids (DH slightly low count/motility)
Oct. 2010 - Dec. 2012: In DENIAL! avoided the issue because I was scared of surgery
January 2013: returned to RE, fibroids grew significantly
February 2013: second HSG, fibroids pushed on tubes which blocked them somewhat
March 2013: MRI to determine what type of surgery may be necessary
July 29, 2013: fibroids (5) removed via robotic laparascopy
August 2013 - Nov 2013 : benched due to recent surgery

IUI #4 canceled due to lack of response to letrozole
IUI #4.1 April 28, 2014, BFN
May 16, 2014: wtf consult, start prepping for IVF in June and add injects for one last IUI in the meantime
IUI #5 started letrozole and bravelle but canceled after HSG led to new diagnosis
May 21, 2014: third HSG, tubes blocked, one at the beginning, one hydrosalpinx??
IVF #1 August 8, 2014 - 3dt of 2 embryos, BFN
September 17, 2014 - 4th HSG, the right tube is very patent (open!!) dye went straight through this time. Weird!
October 2, 2014 - started metformin treatment
November 14, 2014 - blood work, brought A1C down from 5.8 to 5.5
November 26, 2014 - RE finally back from vaca and reviewed my chart, no more IVFs for rest of calendar year
December 1, 2014 - Right after Thanksgiving, I called a new clinic and got in right away! Plan for IVF
December 17, 2014 - ER! 29 retrieved (!!), 16 mature, all 16 fertilized (ICSI)
