10 weeks and symptoms are less

I'm 10 weeks and I'm not feeling as nauseated as I've been feeling. I'm freaking out! Anyone else felt like this?

Re: 10 weeks and symptoms are less

  • Try to enjoy it, but I KNOW it's so hard. My symptoms started fading around 9 weeks and by 11 weeks, I felt great and was convinced I would be getting bad news at my next appointment. However, at 12 weeks, 2 things happened- I got great news at my NT scan, and my symptoms came back worse than they ever were. The placenta is starting to take over providing nutrients for baby now, so that eases up the symptoms a bit. If you're lucky, that's it! They may not come back.

  • Thank you! I need the reassurance! Lol
  • @traylor2b no prob! I had the SAME anxiety about it when I was there, but now I regret not taking advantage of it. I hope I start to feel better soon, and I hope you feel great for the next 30 weeks!

  • I was feeling the same way at about 10 weeks, and it made me a little anxious and nervous... But I went to my appt on Saturday, heard the strong heartbeat, and saw the baby moving around like crazy. All of my anxiety went away and was replaced with tears of joy :) So try not to stress or worry... I think it's normal. Good luck!!
  • Thank you ladies this is our first pregnancy and I'm so nervous! We tried for a year then we finally got pregnant! So I pray everyday for a healthy baby!
  • I'm 9 weeks 4 days and my nausea has subsided, too. Glad to know that I'm not alone. Trying to stay positive!
  • I'm 10w4d and my symptoms have finally subsided! I am feeling so grateful right now but it's easier because I was just at the dr monday abd heard the hearbeat. I just hope the symptoms stay away. I had constant morning sickness from 4 weeks till 10xweeksb:( I'd say try not to worry and just take try to take all the greatness of feeling good in

We r almost out of the 1st tri ladies... we can do this!!!!! \m/

  • That should be a good thing
  • How funny! I just posted the same question! So good to hear everyones replies! -its our first pregnancy as well so im overly nervous until 12 weeks. Hang in there Paleomama. Ill stay positive with ya!
  • I'm at ten weeks and having the same worries! For weeks I would be nauseous 24/7, but during the past week-- I don't even feel pregnant! It's as if my symptoms made me feel like everything was going fine. I'm a worry-freak! I'm glad I'm not alone!
  • I'm at 10 weeks too and starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with ms. It's gone down considerably from 8/9 weeks where I felt awful, all day, every day. Perfect time to be on vacation with my mom who I see three times a year :-(. I'm relieved to not feel so bad all day, now it's pretty much only at night.
  • Well I work at a hospital and I ask an ultrasound tech to do an ultrasound on me. Turns out I'm 11 weeks and 3 days!!! Baby is perfect and kicking and moving like crazy!! That's why I'm feeling better I'm closer to the end of my first trimester then I thought!!
  • @traylor2b‌ How lucky to be able to get an ultrasound! Yay to a healthy baby.
I've been feeling much better since 10 weeks, but I've never had terrible nausea to begin with. I'm 11 weeks 3 days today. I can't wait to go for my NT scan on Thursday even if I'm terrified I'll get bad news.
  • I feel like mine picked up beginning week 9, I'm at week 10 and still no relief! Bleh!
  • I am so enjoying having more energy at 10 weeks and less nausea! Able to eat healthier and regain some normalcy to life!
  • i'm 10 weeks, 5 days and this week have thought the exact same thing.  Was worried that something may be wrong since I don't feel as exhausted or have as much sour stomach/nausea.  And to accompany the decrease in symptoms, I had some spotting 2 days ago, but none since.  As a nurse, all of my training and knowledge regarding first trimester happenings kept telling me that all of this was ok.  But of course, the to-be mom in me had me worrying like crazy.
