Shopping cart covers?

Not sure exactly what they are called...the things you put in the front of the cart so babies can sit in them...

anyone have any recommendations for a good one?

TIA!

Just don't get an expensive one. Sometimes you can find them at Marshalls for $10.

This. As long as they keep LO from chewing on the cart they're doing their job IMO

Agreed. I got a hand-me-down one with DS that I used a couple of times but I didn't like it (it didn't have elastic around the edges so it didn't stay on very well). I ended up just attaching a couple of toys to those little plastic chain link toys and would attach those to the cart. He would play with and chew on those and the chain link would keep them from falling on the floor.

  • I'm team no shopping cart cover. They might help a smaller baby feel more secure though. (I have giant babies ;) )

  • I got a $50 one on clearance at Target for $12.50 a month or so ago when I was just checking out the clearance section. Haven't used it yet.

Which brings me to the next question (sorry to T/J), when can we sit little one in the shopping cart seat? Once they can sit up unassisted?
  • If you're crafty, you can make one! (Or do like I did...commission your mom to make one!)

  • I got a bright stars one at Ross for $12.

@hopefuldog‌ we put her in the cart when she was sitting unassisted.

Side note: I thought it was going to be ahhmazing when she could sit in the cart, until the grocery trip went too long and ran into nap time. I had to push the cart and hold a 20 lb sleeping baby.
  • I had one with DD and ended up hardly using it. Team No Cover.
  • Thanks ladies!! I'll check those all out :)
