Possible relactate?

I might get slack for this, but I want to relactate. Is this something that can be done? Ds stopped at 13.5 months, he'll be 2 on the 27th. Is it possible to relactate?

I know it can be done but I think the odds are more against you with such a gap in time. It can't hurt to try mama!

I'm curious though, why relactate at 2?

I just feel like I could have fb longer, I would have gone as long as possible. He weaned at 13.5 months. Maybe it's because he's growing up so fast and this will make it seem like he's still my little baby. Idk, the time has sure flown by. @drunkindonuts‌

Well, I think it could work because I know that adoptive parents can sometimes make themselves lactate, but if I were you I would think about why you're doing it? Is it about you or LO? I also would be surprised if your LO wanted to nurse after that long. Whatever you decide, good luck!

I don't know much about relactating. But even if your LO is willing to nurse again would he be interested enough to get and keep things going? Maybe the BF board can help. I agree with @cedenton‌ and examine your reasonings. I know it's hard that they are growing up so fast. I'm having a hard time remembering my oldest as a baby and sometimes it stings a little. But with every stage they are growing and becoming their own little humans. Every stage has it's fun moments and frustrating ones too. It's ok they are growing up, it's normal and healthy.
